Player Notifications

Notifications are now more prominent, ensuring players can stay up to date more easily regarding in-app activity.

Notification updates include the following:

A numerical notification alert in the browser tab (red circle with white number inside) that lets players know how many new notifications they have.

2. A lighter gray coloring for new notification tiles in the right hand column. This allows players to more easily distinguish between their new notifications and older notifications that have already been opened.

Players can now click anywhere on the player tiles to be presented with three convenient options; Private message, challenge and view player profile. Private message and view player profile are self explanatory, but challenge allows players to directly invite a player to a PvP match without the need to search for that player in the create match modal.

1. Games

OkLetsPlay is actively in talks with game developers, publishers and gaming ecosystems with a plan to scale-up once the initial v1 soft launch testing phase is completed.

OkLetsPlay can support a wide variety of games across multiple gaming platforms, but there is a sweet spot; Games where OkLetsPlay has a direct relationship with the game developers, and can use the OkLetsPlay patented out-of-game peer wagering module, ensures the best player experience. This is a key differentiator that stands OkLetsPlay apart and ahead of the competition, and is therefore a focus area. Doing what we do best! An end-to-end, fully automated, buttery smooth experience where players are launched into game, play and receive their winnings without any need for entering game codes, manual results reporting or verification.

The OkLetsPlay team also understands that partnering with entire ecosystems of games is a faster, more cost effective and scalable path than partnering with and onboarding games one at a time. A growth strategy with a focus on this allow OkLetsPlay to scale-up more rapidly.

2. White label integrations

OkLetsPlay is actively exploring opportunities with a number of gaming ecosystems that have shown interest in using the patented OkLetsPlay tech and infrastructure to add match and tournament functionality to their games.

There would be numerous benefits to securing a white label partnership, such as:

OkLetsPlay could gain access to an entire suite of games all at once. The games supported on each partner’s white label ecosystem could also be offered on the OkLetsPlay platform.
OkLetsPlay could gain access to an entire new audience of gamers.
OkLetsPlay could build brand awareness in the gaming community and beyond. All white label solutions could prominently state ‘Powered by OkLetsPlay’.
OkLetsPlay could grow its social following as it integrates each new white label solution.
Revenue. OkLetsPlay could unlock instant new streams of revenue through licensing and match/tournament fees for every new white label solution.
Streamers/influencers. Every white label solution comes with access to new streamers and influencers associated with the partner and each game in the ecosystem that OkLetsPlay could tap into.
Sponsors. Every white label solution would come with access to a new pool of sponsors seeking to engage with their target audience, gamers playing games in that ecosystem.

3. OKLP Token Ecosystem

There are a number of ways that OkLetsPlay can grow the OKLP token usage and overall token ecosystem. OKLP token usage will increase as we onboard more games, white label solutions, and players. This can stimulate growth in the following areas:

Matches. More partners, white label integrations and linked games means more players. More players means more matches played. OKLP usage will increase as we grow the number of matches played.
Tournaments. More partners, white label integrations and linked games means more players. More players means more tournaments played. OKLP usage will increase as more tournaments are being played.
Donations. More partners, white label integrations and linked games means more players. Players are able to send OKLP tokens between wallets as donations to other players, steamers, influencers, sponsors and to support any cause they believe in.
Fees. More partners, white label integrations and linked games means more players. More players playing matches, tournaments and sending OKLP internally and in/out of the system means more fees are collected as we grow. More fees means more OKLP usage.

If OkLetsPlay onboards new gaming ecosystems and deploys white label solutions, including web3 blockchain games, some with their own token, the OkLetsPlay ecosystem could grow to incorporate those new tokens. This would grow the token ecosystem as a whole, and grow discoverability and usage of OKLP token, since cross pollination between token ecosystems would help drive visibility and adoption.

4. Token DEX/CEX exchange Listings

As the OkLetsPlay ecosystem grows, there will be additional DEX/CEX listing opportunities. We have close relationships with a number of leading exchanges and will list OKLP on them when the time is right.

Licensing opportunities will become more abundant as the OkLetsPlay system grows. Licensing deals will be a good source of growth for OKLP token.

6. Partners

We are actively in discussion with numerous partners in a variety of areas. Synergies that can add value to the OkLetsPlay platform, community and players. Solidifying partnerships in numerous key areas is a core component of growth for OkLetsPlay and OKLP token, and the team will announce key strategic partnerships in the near future.

7. Social media followers and engagement

The OkLetsPlay team has plans in place to grow social media following and engagement after the v1 soft launch testing phase is complete and the first batch of games are live.

Having a good selection of games live on the platform for players to engage with is critical. We need games for both content creation purposes and to keep players entertained. After all, OkLetsPlay is nothing without games!

As we integrate items 1–6 from the above list, along with our marketing and social media engagement strategies, our social media following will grow rapidly along with the growth in all other areas.

8. Marketing

OkLetsPlay understand the power of marketing. Building brand identity, finding new players and bringing them to the platform will be the fundamental growth driver for OkLetsPlay and OKLP token.

The team is also very aware that bringing players to a platform too early, before games are deployed, could be detrimental to growth.

The team has done and continues to make every invested $ work hard to grow the platform. At this stage, the focus is on items 1–7. Once the games are integrated, then the marketing program begins. OkLetsPlay will actively start finding players to come and explore the ecosystem.

When we initiate the marketing program, the goal is to find, engage and retain players. Player retention is key and timing is everything! It is futile to spend $$$ on marketing before the games are integrated. Players who come in before the games are ready, may try the platform and then leave due to lack of content. This would be in ineffective use of capital.

9. Revenue

If OkLetsPlay implements the growth strategies in areas 1–8 from the above list, then more games and more players playing those games will fuel revenue growth. Revenue can be reinvested back into further development and marketing and both OkLetsPlay and OKLP token have a real chance of experiencing sustained growth.

Conclusions

As OkLetsPlay moves out of v1 soft launch, it is primed for growth.

Games, white label integrations, token ecosystem, DEX/CEX exchange listings, licensing, partners, social media followers and engagement, marketing and revenue will all play an important part in growth.

If these key areas of growth are developed and executed well, OkLetsPlay and OKLP token really could become household names.

The end goal is to become the gold standard cash and crypto video game platform on the market.

As the OkLetsPlay v1 platform launch date rapidly approaches, the OkLetsPlay team is hard at work. Amongst the many tasks being worked on, the team is putting measures in place to collect as much valuable user feedback as possible from the community; this means YOU, we would much appreciate your feedback!

In the weeks after v1 soft launch the team hopes to capture valuable insights from players and visitors. These insights will be leveraged to ensure an optimal player and developer experience.

In order to gather useful data, the OkLetsPlay team has completed two game integration types into the v1 release. OkLetsPlay games can be loosely categorized under two main umbrellas; casual and AAA esport titles.

Casual games are, as you would expect, the kind of games that are more easily accessible to everyone. They can be picked up and played immediately by anyone, and played casually without the need to join a team, or the need for hours of learning or training. Casual games encompass single/multiplayer/team and asynchronous/synchronous games; a broad range of gaming experiences.

AAA pro-level esports games are more involved! Games like League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2 etc. require a significant time investment to be competitive and are often much more complex compared to that of casual games.

OkLetsPlay supports both game types (integrations), therefore the initial v1 release includes one of each.

This was done very deliberately, since it allows the team to gather valuable user feedback and insights on both game types and player experiences and act upon it before resources are expensed to scale game integrations and user acquisition.

As we move from soft launch into the game onboarding phase, there will be more games to play, more tournaments, more players and more money to win!

The OkLetsPlay patent ensures quick and cost effective connection to third-party games through an ultralight linkage which leaves the original game unchanged. OkLetsPlay does NOT embed match or tournament UI within supported third-party games therefore the game’s general community does NOT see any tournament / real money UI or functionality. All this data/UI/UX is contained within OkLetsPlay.

New account creation

Sign-up: Upon creating a new account, the new player will receive a verification email. Once confirmed, a player can login and access the OkLetsPlay tournament system.

$OKLP wallet creation

Every OkLetsPlay player automatically receives an in-app $OKLP wallet upon account creation.

$OKLP token utility

The OkLetsPlay platform supports full $OKLP token utility. Players can use $OKLP tokens to wager on PvP matches and enter into tournaments with $OKLP prizes. Players may create and enter into free PvP matches and tournaments as well to win $OKLP tokens.

Add/Withdraw $OKLP

Players can easily ADD/WITHDRAW $OKLP to and from the OkLetsPlay app.

Deposit $OKLP

Players may obtain $OKLP from exchanges such as MEXC and easily add $OKLP to their OkLetsPlay player wallet using the Polygon wallet address provided within the Add Funds modal. When adding $OKLP to your OkLetsPlay player wallet make sure you have at least 0.02 MATIC to cover the Polygon network gas; Polygon network gas typically ranges from 0.001–0.02 MATIC. Transfer time will range from one (1) minute to three (3) minutes depending on network activity.

Withdraw $OKLP

Players can easily send $OKLP directly from their OkLetsPlay player wallet to an external Polygon wallet; no MATIC necessary to cover the Polygon network gas. The transfer time to receive $OKLP withdraw into an external wallet is typically one (1) to three (3) minutes, depending on network activity. Once the $OKLP is withdrawn from OkLetsPlay, the $OKLP may be sold on an exchange where an $OKLP trading pair is listed such as MEXC. The $OKLP token will be added to additional exchanges in Q2, 2023.

$OKLP Project Team Confirms Farm Staking Rewards & Burning Programs

There have been some questions and rumors regarding $OKLP staking and burning programs swirling around on OkLetsPlay social channels.

We can confirm that OkLetsPlay staking and burning programs are soon to be deployed and that the OkLetsPlay $OKLP farm staking rewards program will provide participants with a 20% APY.

Full program details will be announced by December 31, 2022.

In light of the project team confirming the staking and token burning programs, the $OKLP Round A token holders, who hold 5% of the $OKLP total supply, showed an amazing gesture of support for the $OKLP project and community with a generous 5,000,000 (0.25% total supply) $OKLP donation!

The farm staking rewards and token burning programs will start in February when the highly anticipated OkLetsPlay video game and esports tournament platform goes live.

It is no secret that esports has influenced the growth of League of Legends. It has helped spread it around the world — but how does the professional League of Legends esports scene work?

The LoL professional scene is divided into multiple leagues, each representing a region and the servers in that locale. For example, the North American server and region have the NA LCS league throughout the year. Only the best teams from the United States, Canada, and the rest of NA are playing in the LCS. The same goes for the European LEC, the South Korean LCK, the Chinese LPL, and so on.

League of Legends World Championship (#Worlds2022)

For die-hard League of Legends fans, the end of September and the beginning of October usually mark the beginning of the World Championship, the largest international League event that welcomes elite teams from across the globe. With the return of Worlds this year, fans will get to see League veterans like Nuguri and Faker shine on Summoner’s Rift once again, while Worlds first-timers like Muhammed Hasan “Kaori” Şentürk and Chen “Breathe” Chen will try to showcase the skills they had been building during the Spring and Summer Splits.

Ahead of Worlds 2022, Riot Games released a lot of promotional material, including the annual Worlds anthem, merchandise, emotes, and seasonal skins that only come back during international events. On top of that, Riot released the official list of competing teams, the format of the tournament, the schedule, and a specifically designed set of rules.

Format and schedule

This year’s Worlds consists of three main stages: the play-in stage, the group stage, and the knockout stage (quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals). The play-in stage took place from Sept. 29 to Oct. 4. The group stage took place from Oct. 7 to 17, while the knockout stage is ongoing (at the time of writing this article on 10.28.2022) between Oct. 20 to Nov. 5.

What is the Mid-Season Invitational?

The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is a foundational battleground in the annual LoL Esports season, where rising stars and teams make a global name for themselves. Held between the first and second splits of the season, the best team from the regional leagues compete for the title. MSI is a time for regions to showcase their bold and unique identities and foreshadows the work needed for pros looking to claim a World Championship title.

Riot Games supervises regional leagues in North America, Europe, Latin America, Brazil, Oceania, Korea, Turkey, Russia, Vietnam, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The event moves between host regions each year; this year (2022), teams competed in Busan, South Korea. Busan has two venues: the Busan Esports Arena (Groups) and the Bexco Exhibition Hall (Rumble and Knockouts). Busan is Korea’s second most populous city and to many is considered the home of esports — Busan hosted various stages of Worlds 2014 and Worlds 2018 previously. This is the first time MSI has traveled to Korea.

When did the 2022 MSI happen?

MSI has three stages: the Group Stage, May 10–15; the Rumble Stage, May 20–24, and the Knockout Stage, May 27–29.

The play-in stage featured 12 teams divided into two groups to play a single round of round robin.

The group stage once again featured 16 teams split into four separate groups. The matches during the group stage are played in a double round-robin, meaning that each team plays every other team in their group twice.

The knockout stage welcomes the eight best teams to make their final efforts to get the Summoner’s Cup. At this point, the tournament transitions to a single-elimination bracket, where all matches follow the best-of-five format. The team that has the edge over their opponents and progresses all the way through the bracket will be crowned the 2022 world champion.

What is OkLetsPlay?

OkLetsPlay is a gateway to video games, much like Netflix is a gateway to movies.

How does OkLetsPlay work?

The OkLetsPlay secret sauce (patented IP) is based around their patented out-of-game peer-to-peer wagering module. This module allows OkLetsPlay to send and retrieve data to/from games/servers, so that players can wager and win with just a few clicks.

There is never a need for player manual reporting. OkLetsPlay does the work (full auto reporting) so that players don’t have to.

Players navigate to the OkLetsPlay website, where they enter into a global lobby. This is where they can see live matches and tournaments, or create their own.

Players simply select the game they wish to play, decide how much cash or crypto they want to wager, who they want to play against, and then jump into the action.

Once the match is finished, the scores are reported and the winners receive their winnings!

How do players win cash and crypto?
