1.Introduction:

OC Achievements are digital, verifiable credentials that adhere to the Open Badges standard.Network makes learning more exciting with OC Achievements. These are badges that show your progress, consistency, and community participation. They appear in your Pody Dashboard NFT Tab.

2. Dashboard Overview:

Before we get started, if you don’t have an account, you can follow the instructions here to create one. Once you are on the dashboard, you will see the interface below:

Here, you can see the NFT Tab (also pointed with a yellow arrow). Click on the “NFT Tab”.

Once you are on the NFT Tab, you will see this interface.

Now, here you can see an OC Achievements Section (Pointed as a Yellow Arrow). Click on that Section And you will see this interface.

2.1. How To Create OC Achievements:

To Create OC Achievements, click on the “Create Achievement” Button. You will see this interface.

Here, there are many Options to fill Before Creating an OC Achievement.

1. Title: Here, Write the name of the achievement. Example:”30-Day Streak”.
2. Write Description: Explain why this achievement is given. Example, “Earn this Achievement by managing consistency for 30 days.”
3. Upload Image: Add a badge or icon to make the achievement look unique.JPG/PNG up to 10MB is supported.
4. Set Expiry Date (Optional): If you want the achievement to be available for a limited time, set an expiry date.
5. Create Achievement: Click the “Create Achievement” button, and it will be issued.

Once you have created achievements, they will appear in the Manage Achievements section.

Note: You have to wait until your achievement is approved before proceeding.

2.2. How To Issue OC Achievements:

After your OCA has been approved, do this:

Go to Dashboard → Classroom Tab → Find the classroom session you want to review and click “View Classroom History.

2. Now Check mark on any of the participants and click on Issue Achievement.

3. Now the achievement will be issued to the participant.

In this guide you’ll learn how to “gift” your participants tokens during a classroom.

2. Setting up your Account to Send and Receive Gift

Before we begin, the recipient and the sender must have their wallet connected to Pody. To connect your wallet, follow the steps below:

• Go to your settings (the last icon on your menu bar),
• Connect your wallet.

3. Gifting a Participant

You can gift in a classroom by clicking on the “Gift” icon as shown in the image below:

1. Select the participant you intend to send some gifts.
2. Input any amount of $EDU token you intend to send (as low as 0.0001 $EDU or as high as 10000 $EDU).
3. Click on the ‘Send Gift’ button.

Click on Sign and confirm transactions in your wallet after it pops up.

After confirming the transaction has been confirmed, you should see a dialogue like the one below:

Pody Network is a free online classroom platform that makes learning and teaching easy (similar to Google Meet and Zoom). This guide will show you how to create a classroom, navigate the dashboard, and use all the tools for smooth and effective learning and teaching.

2.2. Dashboard Overview

Before we get started, if you don’t have an account, you can follow the instruction here to create one. Once you are on the dashboard, you will see the interface below:

Now, check the top-right corner of the dashboard. You’ll see a button named Scheduled Classroom. Click on it, and you’ll see two options: Instant Classroom and Schedule Classroom. We will discuss these two topics briefly.

2.2.1. Scheduled Classroom

If you click on Scheduled Classroom, you will see this interface:

Sometimes you don’t want to start a class right away. Maybe you want to prepare or let students know in advance. That’s where the Schedule Classroom option comes in. Here’s how to do it step-by-step:

1. Add Class Details: You can add Title, description, banner image.
2. Select Date & Time: Use calendar & time selector; it is set to your device’s time zone.
3. Finalize & Save: Click Schedule Classroom →It will generate a unique join link.
4. Share Invitation: Copy the link and send it to students.

2.2.2. Instant Classroom

The Instant Classroom option lets you start teaching right away without setting a date or time. It’s great for quick lessons, urgent meetings, or when you’re ready to begin immediately. Click on Instant Classroom, you will see this interface.

Here’s how to do it step-by-step:

1. Enter your name or use your default username.
2. Set audio/video preferences (mic, camera, volume).
3. Join or Start Classroom.

Top Section:

The top section contains your Classroom Title and live time.

Center Section:

The Center Section contains Your Profile Picture,how’s your network connection and on the right side your microphone if it is mute or unmute.

Bottom Control Panel:

The bottom control panel consist of :

1. Full-Screen option.
2. Settings option to check your microphone or your Camera.
3. Microphone: To Mute/Unmute.
4. Turn Camera On/Off Option.
5. If you want to share your screen you can use this option to do it.
6. React with emojis using this option.
7. If you have a question in a class you can raise your hand.
8. Leave Button:To leave the class.
9. If you click this you will see options like Copy class link and change layout.
10. You can also send gifts to participants using this option.
11. You can do Live chat.

1. Introduction

Pody Network is a Web3 classroom that combines education with financial benefits. It allows students to improve their credit scores while learning, giving them access to financial services like overdraft facilities. The goal of Pody is to make education more accessible through financial inclusion. This tutorial explains how to use Pody Network. You will learn how to sign up, log in, and navigate the platform.

2. Creating Account

• Open Pody Network on any web browser.

• You will see the Interface as shown in the picture above.
• If you already have an account, you can login using your Google Account, Email or OCID.
• If don’t have an account, you can create one with your email or Google Account.

2.2 Explore the Dashboard

2.2.1 Home Tab

The “Home Tab” is where you can see your recent and scheduled classrooms. You can also see where to enter a call code to join a live classroom session directly.

2.2.2 Classroom Tab

Unlike the dashboard section, you can have a full overview of all your classroom including classroom history and ability to manage your classroom.

2.2.3 Card Tab

You can access the in-built credit card to spend anywhere and anytime. Up to $1,000 in student overdraft to support educational needs. You can Join waitlist to get whitelisted.

2.2.4 Rewards Tab:

When you join and participate in online classrooms on Pody Network, you earn points or rewards. These rewards encourage active learning and attendance. The points can be tracked on a leaderboard, motivating students to stay engaged. This system helps students build good habits and even improve their financial profile by showing consistent participation. In the leaderboard section, you can see the top users.

2.2.5 NFTs Tab:

You can mint NFTs for future benefits and reward. In the future, NFT might be used to unlock certain functionality and multiply the amount of Yuzu points earned. To mint NFTs, you need $EDU token. To get $EDU token, you can bridge from Arbitrium to $EDU .

2.2.6 Settings Tab

This is where you can change your avatar, set your password, complete KYC and connect wallet. If you don’t have a wallet, you can download MetaMask wallet from Play store, Appstore or Chrome Extension Store. You can also connect your OCID after claiming it for free from the official Open Campus OCID portal.

Yuzu is the onchain points system within the EDU Chain ecosystem they are non-transferable and can only be earned or burned, it is designed to reward active users.

Yuzu Points are your ticket to rewards in the EDU Chain ecosystem. You can use your points to rent EDULand NFTs, which grant you the right to operate a node on EDU Chain and earn $EDU tokens as rewards.

Get Started with Pody

To begin earning Yuzu Points with Pody, follow these simple steps:

• Sign Up: Create a free account on Pody
• Complete KYC: Verify your identity. This step is required to unlock most earning opportunities.
• Connect Your OC ID: Connect your OC ID. (optional)

1. Host or Join Classrooms

Pody is a Web3 alternative to meeting solution like Google Meet and Zoom, where you can host or join classroom. Every time you actively participate, you earn Points.

Every time you Join or Host classroom and you actively engage, contributing we reward your effort with Points.

Tip: Stay active and provide valuable contributions to maximize your rewards!

2. Mint Pody NFTs for Boosted Rewards

Owning a Pody NFT supercharges your Yuzu Points earnings! At the end of each Yuzu Harvest (a seasonal reward cycle), NFT holders receive a Booster Multiplier based on their NFT level for example:

• Level 1 NFT: 1.5x multiplier
• Level 5 NFT: Up to 10x multiplier

Note: This isn’t the actual booster multiplier, Boosters are calculated at the end of each Yuzu Harvest

To Mint a Pody NFT:

• Go to your Pody Dashboard.
• Navigate to the NFT section
• Mint NFT to become a holder and unlock boosted rewards

3. Issue Open Campus Achievements (OCAs)

OC Achievements are digital, verifiable credentials that adhere to the Open Badges standard.

How to Issue OCAs:

• Log in to your Dashboard .
• Complete KYC (if not already done).
• Go to the NFT page and select the Achievements tab.
• Click on the OC Achievements tab and choose Create Achievement.
• Fill in the achievement details (e.g., title, description, image).
• Submit for review. Once approved, you can issue OCAs to participants in your Classrooms.

Important: Achievements must meet Pody’s criteria to be approved.

4. Refer Friends to Pody

Invite friends to join Pody and earn Yuzu Points when they complete their KYC! Here’s how:

• Share your unique referral link (found in your Pody Dashboard ).
• When your friend signs up and completes KYC, you’ll receive Pody Points, which are automatically converted to Yuzu Points.

4. Stay Active in the Pody Discord Community

Join the Pody Discord to connect with the community. Users with specific Discord roles (earned through active participation) receive a allocation of Yuzu Points at the end of each Yuzu Harvest.

In the U.S., college tuition has risen faster than both wages and inflation in recent years. Americans currently owe about $1.7 trillion in student loans, with each student owing over $38,000 on average. So, what’s wrong with the system? Is it the pricing, or the job market?

In November 2024, the Australian government announced a 20% reduction in student debt and introduced fairer repayment terms. This shows an awareness of the problem. However, can this alone solve the issue?

What if the core problem isn’t the students, but a system that continues to make education increasingly unaffordable? Today, 30 to 40 percent of students in the US take out loans, compared to just 19 percent in the 1990s.

Many students now begin their adult lives burdened by debt, while job opportunities, especially entry-level ones, appear increasingly scarce. This makes university education less attractive. At this rate, interest in pursuing a degree may continue to decline, with more people losing confidence in the system.

To be fair, universities do need funding. But in the true spirit of education, the interests of students should come first. A fair price for education would be one that allows a student to repay their loans within one to three years of graduating, even while working a minimum-wage job.
