3. How will the fund raised in the early stages via Bit Hero NFT be used?

60% of the fund will be used to buy Bitcoin mining machines, 30% will be put into the VC fund pool, and 10% will be used to sustain the daily operations of DAO.

4. Why Bit Hero DAO chooses to build its initial fund pool upon Bitcoin mining?

Based on the global consensus and firm belief of Bitcoin, Bit Hero DAO chose to build its initial fund pool upon Bitcoin mining. The daily Bitcoin mining revenue will provide stable financial support.

Even if only 30% of the Bitcoin mining revenue is distributed per day, it can still ensure that early NFT investors can recover their investment principal. Warren Buffett once said that the three most important things in making investments are: don’t lose money, don’t lose money, don’t lose money. Upon preserving the principal, 70% of the daily mining revenue will be used by a group of smart people to invest in other crypto projects with a higher ROI.

5. How do NFT holders get Bitcoin mining revenue?

To get the mining revenue, Bit Hero NFT holders need to stake their NFTs via the smart contract. And the excess mining revenue will be distributed to the staked addresses.

The mining pool will automatically distribute the mining revenue to the NFT holders at 10:00(GMT+8) each day. NFTs must be staked for 24+ hours before getting mining revenue.

6. Where do we get money for the Bit Hero DAO’s fund pool?

It was mainly raised out of the following four ways:
a) 30% of ETH raised via Bit Hero NFT
b) 70% of the daily Bitcoin mining revenue
c) 70% of Bit Hero NFT’s royalties
d) 0.001ETH charged for each on-chain interaction

Bit Hero DAO will launch its governance token later. Each transaction and on-chain interaction of the governance token will be charged a certain amount of fee.

7. What are the influence indexes of Bit Hero NFTs and Dhero?

Each Bit Hero NFT has a different scarcity index on the blockchain. For example, some NFTs have a scarcity index of 20, and some NFTs have a scarcity index of 50. These scarcity indexes are called the influence index of Bit Hero NFTs.

Staking Bit Hero NFTs and you’ll get the corresponding amount of Dhero. Dhero can only be used to vote and cannot be sold for cash. Additionally, it has the same influence index as the staked Bit Hero NFTs. For example, if the scarcity index of staked Bit Hero NFT is 100, then the corresponding Dhero influence index is 100.

If there’re multiple NFTs in a single address, a total influence index will then be calculated. Addresses with the Top 50 NFT influence indexes are called Damocles. Apart from Damocles, the rest of the addresses are called Decoders.

8. Who can make proposals?

Addresses with the Top 50 NFT influence indexes are called Damocles.

Damocles has the right to make proposals but is unable to vote. Normally speaking, Damocles often enjoys a high influence index. We hope more community members could join the voting, thus ensuring the fairness and health of the system. Damocles cannot nominate two projects at the same time. They should wait 5 days before nominating a new project.

9. Who can vote?

Apart from Damocles, the rest of the addresses are called Decoders. Decoders can vote, and their voting is also calculated based on their NFT influence index.

10. About vote

When the project was passed, it can be open for public voting. Each project enjoys a 5-day voting period. As of the voting deadline, Only projects that meet the following conditions are eligible for DAO investment:
a. Support votes outnumber negative votes.
b. Over 20% of the staking addresses have joined voting.

Special note: When the negative votes of a project reach 30%, it will be automatically declared a failure, and no further voting will be allowed.

11. About investment and execution details

When the project is officially eligible for receiving investment and the treasury happens to have funds equivalent to 1 BTC, the investment process will be activated. 1 BTC will be used in two different ways, 0.8 BTC for making investments and 0.2 BTC for buying Bit Hero NFT at the floor price.

When the governance token was launched, Damocles needs to be responsible for following up and putting the received tokens into the treasury. They have the right to decide the liquidation time of the investment. And the treasury has to execute the sell decision made by Damocles.

When the investment is profitable after liquidation, half of the funds will be distributed to the Bit Hero NFT staking addresses according to their influence indexes. 30% will be used to repurchase Bit Hero NFT at the floor price, and 20% will be directly put into the treasury.

When the investment is at a loss after liquidation, 30% of the remaining funds will be used to buy Bit Hero NFT at the floor price. The rest will be directly put into the treasury.

12. When the project is eligible for receiving investment and the treasury deposit is less than 1BTC, what should we do?

When the treasury deposit is less than 1 BTC, the co-investment fund can be activated. If the co-investment fund is insufficient, then we have to wait until the treasury deposit reaches 1 BTC.

13. What is the co-investment fund?

When the project is eligible for receiving investment and the treasury deposit is less than 1BTC, then the co-investment fund will be activated. The co-investment fund is only open to NFT holders. It was set to help the treasury deposit reach1 BTC. A 2% service fee shall be paid to the treasury for raising money for the co-investment fund each time.

14. About the Launch of Governance Token

To reach a broader consensus and further expand the community, Bit Hero DAO will launch its governance token.

When launching the governance token, Bit Hero NFT will reclaim the right to get all the mining revenue. In other words, early NFT holders will receive 100% of BTC mining revenue. From then on, the VC fund pool will rely on governance tokens and a 0.4% service fee charged for each on-chain interaction instead of Bitcoin mining revenue. Governance tokens will be airdropped to NFT holders according to the influence indexes of their NFTs. Here, we’ll replace NFT’s proposal rights, voting rights, and revenue distribution rights with governance tokens.

Meanwhile, we’ll launch some more governance tokens. All the ETH raised by those governance tokens will be directly put into the treasury, thus increasing Bit Hero DAO’s fund reserves.
