SuiDex Private Raise Rescheduled to June 12 — Testnet Hackathon Launching

Following a community vote on X and in response to ongoing recovery efforts from the Cetus hack, we’ve made the decision to postpone the SuiDex Private Raise by 12 days.

The new raise date is now set for Thursday, June 12th, 2025. The waitlist to WHITELIST your wallet for the private raise is open at SuiDex.org

We believe this decision aligns with the community’s wishes, and — most importantly — gives room for recovery efforts to progress so that our early supporters can participate without stress or uncertainty.

🔐 Cetus Recovery Update

In May 2025, Cetus Protocol, the largest DEX on Sui, was exploited through a vulnerability in its concentrated liquidity pools, resulting in the theft of approximately $223 million in user funds.

This week, a Sui governance vote passed to approve a one-time protocol transaction to recover stolen funds and return them to a multi-sig wallet controlled by Cetus, Sui Foundation, and OtterSec.

In a powerful show of support, the Sui Foundation has also announced that it is issuing a secured loan to Cetus to compensate users in full for the bridged assets that were lost in the hack.

“These funds apply only to cover the bridged assets and are separate from the frozen funds subject to the onchain community vote. These are extraordinary measures taken to protect the Sui community.”

So while a full recovery is not guaranteed, it now looks extremely promising. This is a key reason why we’re giving it just a bit more time for the dust to settle before launching the raise.

💪 Suitrump Holds the line

The Cetus hack had a direct and measurable impact on Suitrump’s price performance. Before the exploit, Suitrump had reached a $650K market cap and was showing strong upward momentum. On-chain data later revealed that the hacker sold 920 million SUITRUMP tokens, with another 910 million SUITRUMP still frozen in the attacker’s wallet. This doesn’t include the SUI tokens that were paired with SUITRUMP in the Cetus pool. As of writing, the market cap has stabilized around $430K, showing strong resilience in the face of both SUI’s post-hack downtrend and the selling pressure from the hacker’s wallet.

What set Suitrump apart during this crisis was its liquidity strategy. While other Sui-based tokens like LOFI and BLUB saw 75%+ price collapses, Suitrump remained relatively protected due to having two independent liquidity pools: one locked and burned on MovePump — which was completely unaffected — and one on Cetus, which was exploited. This split was no accident — it was the result of Richie Crypto Mischief’s seven years of DeFi experience and a clear understanding that diversification early on is key to surviving black swan events.

Looking forward, Suitrump plans to launch new liquidity pools on SuiDex and migrate the Cetus pool once recovered to another leading Sui DEX. However, no new pool has been launched yet. Richie anticipates a period of high volatility and arbitrage immediately following the return of Cetus funds and is prioritizing capital protection for Suitrump holders. Step 2: Fund Your Wallet with SUI

You’ll need SUI tokens to pay for gas (network fees), and to swap into USDC for the raise.

Option 1: CEX → SUI → Wallet

Buy SUI from major exchanges (Binance, OKX, KuCoin) and withdraw directly to your Sui wallet.

• Be sure to double-check your wallet address and select the correct Sui network during withdrawal.
• Never forgot “Not Your Keys, Not Your Crypto”. It’s not advised to leave funds idle in a CEX.
