Recently, Warena held an AMA section in the community with the aim to resolve community questions, engage with the community and give guidance leading into 2023. The recap is shown below.

Question 1: What is new in the latest updated version of Warena?

1. In-Game “Store”:

Items for sale include Potions (lucky & speed), Box/Support packages (Quantum box, Mineral support, Forest support, etc.), and packs.
Opened Support packages will randomly generate the type of resource corresponding to the box and quantity.
Opened Quantum boxes will produce modules which can be used to enhance armor and weapons. Quantum boxes can be purchased in the shop OR built in the build/craft section.

2. Enhance Armor and Weapons:

The combat module can be obtained when opening the “quantum box”.
Each module increases an armor or weapon stat by one.
The module will be lost after inserted, however the player can overwrite the installed module.

3. Upgrade House

Players now have the ability to change the shape of the main/guild house.

4. Withdraw and deposit Warena 3D Items

Items in the NFT list can now be transferred from the game to your wallet and vice versa.

Question 2: Why has the price dropped so much? What is going on?

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns, and rest assured that we are always basing both short and long term company policy on extracting the most value possible for our players.

Currently, we are vesting tokens, as previously stated, to repay our investors for their support of Warena. Furthermore, the general bear market both in crypto and the global economy as a whole has had an effect on price, causing a drop. We obviously never want this to happen, but broad market conditions are not in our control.

As a result, we always try our best on what we can control, the Warena product, in order to bring you a community-based game that is fun, valuable, and adaptive to every type of market condition.

Question 3: How do I get $WARE to buy items in-store?

You can swap to $WARE in any DEX (Pancake Swap).

Question 4: When will earnings be available?

Earnings will be updated in 2023. We will be sure to advise the community when this information is available. Please note, players can still earn, but not from daily quests, but instead from trading items on the Warena Marketplace.

Question 5: Who is the Warena Project owner?

Vu is the Project owner from the Warena inception until now. He has appeared once in Warena’s previous AMA’s. You can see more about Vu on the project’s IG page at:

Question 6: Who are Kanie and Khoi? Are they bots or what? Are they part of the team?

Both Kanie and Khoi are currently working as team members on the Warena project. Khoi is the Warena planner and Kanie is one of our UD.

Question 7: What do you say to those who “trusted the project” but now say they “got scammed”?

Time will answer this question. Just as we focus on not over-promising when the market is up, we do not believe in panicking when the market is down. Web3 projects have a very limited history to judge market activity, and the speculative nature of Game-Fi means that it is being hit even harder as the entire global economy struggles.

First, Warena does not promote easy money with huge profits. We promote what we believe is in the best interest, both short and long term for our players. If we were a scam, we’d flee as soon as the market struggles, there is no reason for a scam project to still be active, including hosting AMAs, developing/updating the product every month, etc.

1️⃣: Will the Warena 2D version NFT be usable in the 3D game?

Yes, you can use your 2D characters to play the 3D games. The “play-and-earn” mechanics that made the Warena 2D game so fun will soon come to Warena 3D! To be more specific, you can now use your NFT for auto farming/mining/hunting in the Production House, collecting items your NFT gets every 4 hours.

3️⃣: Why did Danny and Sandy leave the team?

We know that with how open and communicative we are with our community, it can be shocking when leading team members move on. Both Sandy and Danny have chosen new career paths, and though we miss their contributions, we respect their decision. Sadly a development team is ever-changing, but change provides new opportunities to bring in a fresh perspective and new talent that will lead to an even better game. Currently, we have had a few new faces join the team. They are all passionate and experienced individuals who we believe can take Warena to the next level.

4️⃣: Who is Kate? Who exactly is leading the team now?

Kate is the Warena Product Marketing Manager. She has extensive experience, with over 5 years of experience working in blockchain. Additional team member additions include:

5️⃣: What is Warena’s Product Plan?

December:

Release “Shop” in game + apply tokenomics. The intention of this is to reduce the time of farming, hunting and mining. The shop includes the items needed to build and play in the game. The payment method will be released later when finalized.
Deposit/Withdraw (3D) NFT. 3D items can be bought, sold and rented.
Improve support for Warena 2D. We’re currently combining Warena 2D and 3D together, with an updated version of Warena 2D.

January to March (2023):

Develop Guild and interaction features between guild members in the Metaverse. A major focus heading into next year is improving the social aspects of Warena 3D, inter-player transactions and features.

6️⃣: What is Warena’s Marketing Plan?

December:

Event (Website): Warena World Cup betting feature. Utilize the blockchain to pick the score of World Cup matches, powered by smart contracts.

Warena launches Guild System with Staking, Chatting and many more

1. Overview

Guilds are linked to the land system in Emporia 3D. Therefore, players need to own land to create a Guild. The Guild feature allows players to connect with other players in the game. Through the Guild system, players can participate in some features only available to members in the Guild. New features include:

Chat
Market
Contribution
Quests

Each Guild is an NFT belonging to the Guild owner, and Guilds can be traded between players. Once the Guild is sold, the entire Guild will be transferred to the new Guild owner.

A player who currently doesn’t have Land can enter Warena 3D: Emporia Saga gameplay if he/she is a Guild member and play within the Guild Land.

Important notes:

Guild Land is the Land where all the guild members can access its Resource Points in the 3D Game. Guild also has its own Guild building.
Normal Land is the Land that doesn’t have a Guild created and only the owner can access its Resource Points in 3D Game.

2. Guild Characteristic

A Guild has the following characteristics: name, emblem, description, number of members, level, and land.

2.1. Name

The name of the Guild. The Guild owner will set the name when creating the Guild. This name is unique across the server. The Guild name will be displayed on the Guild list and the information section.

2.2. Emblem

The symbol of the Guild. An emblem is composed of flags, symbols, colors, and symbol colors. There are 30 shapes, 10 symbols, and 10 colors. The Guild owner creates the emblem for the Guild by choosing shapes, symbols, and colors according to the given system. The emblem will be displayed on the Guild list and Information section.

2.3. Land

The land of the Guild. The Guild owner must first own land to form a Guild. Players can view the land on the Emporia 3D map.

2.4. Description

Display Guild description, content compiled by Guild Leader. The description will be displayed in the Guild information section.

2.5. Level & Member

Level will be the stat allowing certain functions to be accessed by the Guild, including the Market feature, the number of members in the Guild, and the % of staking reward.

To increase the Level, Guild members must join in the contribution process. Points used to upgrade are calculated by accumulating Contribution Points each time a member contributes. The level will show on the Guild list and Guild information.

Each Guild has a maximum number of members depending on the Guild’s level. The number of members and the maximum number of members will be displayed on the Guild list and in the Guild information section.

3. Guild Resources

There are 2 significant resources players can earn and use when joining the Guild:

Contribution Points: Used to upgrade the Guild and calculate the rewards from staking. Players can get it when using the Contribution feature.
Guild Currency: Used to buy items in the market. Players can get it through the Contribution and Daily Quest.

4. Guild Role

Each Guild will have 3 roles: Guild leader, Senior, and Junior.

4.1. Guild Leader

Known as a Guild owner, Guild Leader owns Guild properties including land, members and has the right to access Guild features including:

4.2. Senior

This is an auto-role granted to members who have already used Guild’s contribution and received their first rewards in Staking. Senior guild members also have access to Guild features including:

4.3. Junior

This is the base role granted when new players join the Guild. Junior guild members can access Guild features, including:

5. Guild Function

5.1. Create a Guild

To create a Guild, players must own a Land NFT and have 200 RENA for the creation fee. Once players meet these two criteria, they can access the Create Guild button on their land. Each Land NFT can have one Guild created.

Once you created a Guild Land, you cannot convert it back into Normal land.

The name limit for each Guild is 30 characters, and the description limit is 150 characters. Name and Description cannot contain words on the blocklist.

5.2. Join and Leave

Players can Send Requests to the Guild they want to join in the Guild List. Each player can send up to 20 join requests. The request will be automatically deleted after seven days from the time of sending, or if the player has joined another Guild. Only Guild Leaders can confirm or deny the requests. If one request is granted before another, the player will join that Guild, and other requests will be void.

Players can leave the current Guild to join new Guilds by clicking the LEAVE button on the Guild Information tab. If the player is a Senior, they will receive back the RENA they staked and cannot continue to stake until they enter a new Guild.

5.3. Guild Information

All Guild members can view their Guild information. Guild information includes Guild name, level, description, number of current members, and rank of Guild members by Contribution Point. The rank of Guild members does not reset.

5.4. Guild Manager

Only Guild Leaders can access Guild Manager. The feature helps Guild Leader to edit and manage Guild members with the following features:

Rename: The Guild Leader can change the Guild name. Each Rename costs 5000 WARE.
Description: The Guild Leader can change the description of the Guild. Free of charge.
Approve member: Every time someone wants to join the Guild, the Guild Leader will receive an in-game mail notification. The Guild Leader has the right to accept or reject that request.
Remove member: The Guild Leader can remove any member from the Guild. That member will receive in-game mail regarding the removal. There will be a seven-day countdown before officially being removed for those who have RENA staking progress in the Guild. Removed members must claim the RENA and interest within the seven-day countdown.

5.5. Chat

All Guild members can use this chat room to talk to other Guild members. The chat will show the latest 50 messages and can store up to 1000 messages simultaneously.

5.6. Contribution

All Guild members can use this feature to burn WARE and stake RENA. There are two metrics players need to focus on:

Contribution Point: 1 Rena stake = 1 Contribution Point.
Capacity: the amount of RENA they can stake. Guild members need to burn WARE to increase Capacity with the ratio of 160 WARE = 1 RENA. After that, members can go to Emporia to stake RENA and earn Contribution Point for your Guild. The minimum amount for each time of stake is 20 RENA and a seven-day period till the next Stake.

During the staking cycle, if a player clicks on Contribution, they will be redirected to the interest detailed tab. At the end of the staking cycle, the reward includes interest and Guild Currency at the rate of 4 RENA Stake = 1 Guild Currency. After 4 hours from the end of the staking cycle, the system will automatically stake the same amount of RENA as the previous cycle if the players don’t claim their interest. Auto-stake can be done 4 times, after that the player must revoke their stake to stake again.

Guild Currency will be reset if the player leaves or is removed from the Guild.

5.7. Market

All Guild members can use Market to buy Minerals and Materials for NFT level up and skill upgrade with either WARE or Guild Currency. Each player has a certain amount of items that can be purchased per day. This amount will be reset daily and not be accumulated.

For each Guild level, there will be fixed slots for items to appear in the Market. Items shown will be randomly generated daily.

6. Guild Reward

6.1. Quest

Guild quests are repeatable quests that can be acquired and completed once per day in the Warena game. These quests have significantly better rewards than other quests since it comes with daily rewards.

6.2. Staking

Players who contribute and stake Rena will receive rewards at the end of the staking cycle.

The Guild Leader will benefit 5% of the Staking reward of Guild Members. The system will collect 4% from the players’ Staking Reward.

Welcome to the Warena Status report. In this report, we will be looking back at some of the key developments of the last month as well as looking forward to some great new things coming on the horizon. This month the Emporia Metaverse took huge steps forward, with some of the very first Land NFTs finding their very first owners, as well as the launch of the Warena 3D Beta within Emporia.

This is a critical time for us, as we work hard to realize the true potential of the Emporia Metaverse. The beauty of play-to-earn gaming is that consumers are no longer relegated to simply being fans and consumers, but actively own and earn as the system grows. The Warena community’s feedback and opinions, therefore, are even more pertinent as we look to shape the Metaverse in meaningful and exciting ways. Our goal with this beta test is to enlist the assistance of present users in order to improve the game. The designs are not final, thus this is a key stage of development in shaping the game according to our community feedback while introducing new features that will be in the official 3D version.

One of the biggest events this month was the release of the Warenea 3D Beta. Warena lovers can enter the Emporia Metaverse and play both the 2D and 3D versions of Warena. The Warena 3D Beta is the community’s direct route to improve gameplay and game mechanics by offering feedback as we push to bring the full release later this year. The community’s feedback is critical in developing a game that meets the needs of players, the 3D beta is now open and there is an assortment of in-game activities and events to win Mystery Boxes and Land NFT in Emporia including:

In-Game Leaderboard: Compete against each other in a variety of mini-games to earn rewards. Leaderboards are ranked by Materials received and overall performance.
Bugs Bounty Hunting: Play the 3D Beta, find bugs and clearly report them for a chance to win rewards.
The Amazing Guild Flag: Land NFT ownership opens up the possibility for players to start their own guilds. Your Guild Flag will be a great opportunity to showcase your Guild’s personality and style. Post your flag design for a chance to win.

Warena receives grant to launch on Harmony

Warena, the cross-chain play-to-earn game that is part of the Emporia Metaverse, is coming to the Harmony One blockchain. Warena was granted a 1,210,654 $ONE funding grant from Harmony in order to build a cross-chain bridge between $RENA, the main token of the Emporia Metaverse, and ONE.

The partnership will mutually benefit both parties, with the grant funds being directly used to improve key areas of the game including new game systems, acquisition of new game developers, more complex staking systems, and an increased marketing presence. These improvements will result in better value for project development and user benefits on the Harmony One chain.

This month we celebrated our partnership with Rove with 150 free Rock and Home NFTs Airdrop. Rove is a Metaverse as a service provider, and this partnership will help Warena and community members to build their own metaverse and personal 3D spaces.

Participants who completed a small set of tasks were able to get one of 150 Rock and Home NFT. With these NFT, users can do a variety of activities including creating their own home on the rock NFT, decorating their home with 3D objects, customizing their home with non-NFT and NFT art from your crypto wallet, and creating virtual hangouts for you and your friends to hang out together in your new pad!

Monthly Token Burn

With the recent turbulence within the market, we’re always looking for ways to create value for our players to protect their long-term goals. Even the most well-intentioned projects founded on the concepts of decentralization and community empowerment can falter with a tokenomic system that isn’t balanced or fair.

Token burns destroy the number of Tokens in order to reduce the total supply existing in the Warena system. The burned Token will not belong to any account and will be lost forever. Warena has implemented the burning of 5% of our revenue at the end of each month. The monthly burn began in April of this year and will continue until September, at which time our holders/investors will hold a DAO governance to adjust the burn rate if needed. Warena is committed to creating a fair and balanced tokenomics that maintain a healthy system. We do not gain from burning tokens and look to use this monthly Token burn to balance the game while creating scarcity to increase the value of the $RENA Token.

Warena receives grant to launch on Harmony

Warena, the cross-chain play-to-earn game, which is part of the Emporia Metaverse, is coming to the Harmony One blockchain. Warena is thrilled to announce we have been granted a 1,210,654 $ONE funding grant from Harmony to build a cross-chain bridge between $RENA, the main token of the Emporia Metaverse, and ONE.

The partnership will mutually benefit both parties, with the grant funds being directly used to improve key areas of the game including; new game systems, acquisition of new game developers, more complex staking systems, and an increased marketing presence. The grants will boost Warena’s and Harmony’s reach and engagement, helping us to build a strong and vibrant community, with increased project sustainability. The aim of this funding is to directly improve both the core functionality of the game, as well as improve company-wide standards and practices to best meet our current and future goals, both for players and investors.

Welcome to the Warena Status report. So much has been happening behind the scenes and we’re so happy to share some updates about Warena, both what we’ve accomplished this quarter as well as our plans for the future.

Together we transcend reality with Warena, the world’s first cross-over Metaverse where you play, earn and experience with your personalized NFT character, and this quarter has been ground-breaking (pun intended) in terms of what we have accomplished. We introduced new characters, new game modes, a new currency and most importantly, broke ground on the Warena Metaverse with the giveaway of the first round of Warena metaverse land NFT.

After the game launched, we wanted to immediately have a way to give back to the community. With the YouTube Community Reactions Tournament, Warena community members were able to win rewards for the most creative, most educational and most community loved reaction videos to the Warena gameplay and first ever story trailer.

Introducing RAMAN

With the great weapon that fractured space and time, Warena has been invaded by creatures from many different realities. This quarter saw the introduction of Raman. Raman is the first character of the Demon race. Raman is one of the last Demonic Battlemasters, rare individuals who can combine powerful Hellfire with the devastating firepower of advanced combat technologies. Despite his chosen path of violence, and killing for fame and honour, Raman is deeply concerned with the fate of his people after he discovered the portal that connected his homeworld to Warena, a land plagued with zombies and corrupted machines!

Harmony One Partnership

Warena is thrilled to announce we have successfully applied for a Port grant with Harmony One to build a cross-chain bridge between $RENA and ONE.

Team Warena has been working on bridging our game, marketplace, and other components from Warena-BSC to the Warena-ONE chain. The team will upgrade the progress in the next quarter, both through Warena Community group chats and the Harmony Discussion forum.

In World Boss Mode, players can fight the World Boss of the day, high-level enemies with 1 billion HP. There is no energy needed to play and costs WARE to buy more turns in battle. You will be rewarded with upgrade items in World Boss Mode and can earn WARE rewards for ranking (ranking is by damage done to Boss HP).

This April began the next evolution of Warena and the beginning of the true Warena Metaverse. To mark the beginning of this next phase of the game, the Warena team gave away some of the first NFT Land of Emporia. Emporia is a virtual metaverse where players can own, mine, farm, and develop their own land. Community members were able to win some of the very first Emporia Land NFT through referrals, both through our official Discord channel as well as through the Warena Marketplace.

As part of the giveaway, Warena gave out 3 Golden Land (Moonlit Glades), the most valuable land in Emporia with the highest rate of resource spawning. In addition, 30 Regular lands (Forlorn Woods) were also given away.

Introducing $EMP — the Warena Discord Currency

The Tokenomics of any Play and Earn game is a critical factor in providing value to the player for their time and investment into the game world. Warena is always trying to find ways to reward our community, not just in the game, but for all the ways the community supports the game and offers feedback. Just like we battle in teams to survive in Warena, the Warena team would be nothing without the support of our amazing community.

This is why we are happy to introduce a new Warena currency; $EMP. The $EMP currency will be the official currency of the Warena Discord community. Community members who earn $EMP can then use it to exchange for RENA once a month with a rate of RENA/EMP: 1/100 (minimum exchange: 3000 $EMP). The community has a variety of ways to earn $EMP including; weekly quizzes, daily chat in the #general-chat, inviting new members to the Discord, by playing games in #casino, with more ways to earn to be unveiled shortly. This system allows our community to earn even when they are not playing the game by being a proactive and a positive force in our community.

Warena launches its referral program

We consider our community to be part of the Warena team, and thus we are always looking to reward those in our community who grow the game. The Spring Lands Giveaway is an example of how we always look to offer the best in-game rewards for those that bring new players into the Warena metaverse. Even though that contest has ended, we continually offer rewards through our Warena Referral Program. Similar to the Spring Lands Giveaway, players can earn rewards by referring friends to make their first purchase on the Warena marketplace or by joining the official Warena Discord.

Those who refer new members to the community will be branded as Warena Envoys and will be rewarded in stages (along with the referred) based on the new player’s milestones.

Warena Free-to-Play Mode

Trial Mode In Warena 2D Game

Warena is now offering a new model for all users to experience the Survival 2D game. The new game mode is called Trial Mode. Trial Mode is a Free-to-Play game mode by which new users can experience and try out the game without needing to pay or purchase NFTs.

This mode allows players to “try before they buy” and see why so many players are investing in the Warena metaverse. Players will be able to play the 2D survival game as normal. You will still receive rewards (minus $WARE) and can use them to power up your NFT to see how the game system works. The NFTs given to the player do not sit on the blockchain so they cannot be sold or transferred but allows those who are curious about the game to see how the game system and progression systems work and why Warena is such a good Play and Earn ecosystem to join into.

Lend and Rent Warena NFT easier with Double Protocol

The high price level for some NFTs is often a concern for many gamers and a hurdle for those interested in trying out new games. To solve this issue, Double Rental Protocol has built NFT lending and renting platform, where users can earn passive income by lending their in-game NFTs while others can rent them to use instead of buying NFTs to play. This encourages new users to play and earn through games while simultaneously providing passive income for the NFT owners. It’s a win-win situation and allows new users to “try before you buy,” thus increasing the user base of the gaming platform itself.

Emporia is pleased to announce our partnership with Double Protocol. The Double NFT Rental Protocol loves the Emporia metaverse and thinks this partnership will help both parties in a very mutually beneficial way. The Emporia team is thrilled with this partnership and we feel it will increase our user base by making the game more accessible to a larger audience.

Essence and Evolve NFT

Emporia recently introduced Essence. After developing and upgrading your key NFT characters, many players are often left with a surplus of lesser used, often common NFT. Essence is a way in which players can use their lesser utilized NFT to gain Essence, and further evolve their best NFT. Players can burn their lesser desired NFT to earn Essence. The amount and type of Essence received are dependent on the rarity of the NFT burned. Players can then take this Essence and use it in the Essence shop to buy certain items or to evolve their favourite NFT.

Warena Essence — Burn NFT & Evolve

Once your favourite NFTs have reached their maximum level, players can evolve them to further amplify their stats. Each NFT has 7 phases of Evolve with a specific success rate, required Essence and WARE. After each successful phase of Evolve, the success rate of further evolution will decrease. Upon a successful Evolve, the NFT will return to level 1, but a certain amount of resources spent to level up the NFT will be refunded (no skill resources will be refunded).

No one can plan their NFT and inventory management perfectly, therefore Essence allows dedicated players with deep inventories to use their unused NFT to create more resources that can be applied to Evolving and levelling up their preferred and favourite warriors!

Develop Emporia Metaverse with Rove

It’s NOT easy to build a Metaverse from scratch, therefore we are very pleased to announce our partnership with Rove. Rove is a Metaverse as service provider who works to help a variety of Metaverse to develop and improve by providing technical backend support.

Rove and Emporia both have a common vision, to create a Metaverse founded on social connections and virtual communities. Creating positive and exciting virtual spaces takes both technical knowledges as well as a broader unified vision of the Metaverse as a whole.
