We’ve made transformative strides in our commitment to making web3 more accessible and sustainable, and we’re proud to have done it with partners like Yuga Labs, adidas, BMW, Doodles, PUMA, PROOF, Socios.com, and so many more.</p><h3><strong>A New Vision for the tokenproof App</strong></h3><p>Our app underwent a huge transformation this March that laid the foundation for new developments throughout the rest of the year. Beyond giving it a sleeker, more intuitive feel, the new tokenproof app came strapped with new features that significantly enhanced the user experience:</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*4IOZDfzeak7oZ7BkoSZ-HQ.png" /></figure><p><strong>Discover</strong>:</p><p>Our Discover feature has given communities and brands the ability to show off their activations to tens of thousands of tokenproof users. Everything from events to special offers and in-app experiences have been featured in the apps’ Discover section since its release in June.</p><p><strong>Collection</strong>:</p><p>Now, users can see all of their digital collectibles held in their tokenproof-connected wallets in the app. As soon as they participate in an experience that has a POAP attached to it, they can see that POAP drop directly into their wallet alongside all of their NFTs.</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*9d8kAHpZVp53b6ZmQJigag.png" /></figure><p><strong>In-App Claiming</strong>:</p><p>With the launch of the Discover page came in-app claiming, which allowed users to claim their tickets and offers directly from tokenproof app.</p><p><strong>Push Notifications</strong>:</p><p>We implemented push notifications to ensure users are always in the loop. Event organizers have the ability to communicate directly with their attendees before, during and after the event, and brands can always reach their token holders with new opportunities and perks.</p><h3><strong>Bridging the Digital-IRL Divide</strong></h3><p><strong>Token-based Commerce</strong>:</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/0*uF9lMcgaMxxXe8eu.png" /></figure><p>This year, we worked with adidas to integrate our Online Authentication offering into the brand’s CONFIRMED app to give ALTS by adidas holders access to special merch drops. We also debuted our Personalized Offers product, airdropping special promotions to targeted communities, and created a Shopify integration so that anybody can token-gate their merchandise — both online and in brick and mortar stores.</p><p><strong>Interactive Experiences</strong>:</p><p>Brands and communities have new avenues to engage their fans with the tokenproof app, creating experiences like in-app quizzes and IRL POAP scavenger hunts that can result in future utility for the user and generate more value for the brand.</p><p><strong>Self-Serve Portal</strong>:</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*cPxXRLwSuB5c-hU_h6ar_w.png" /></figure><p>We’ve created an intuitive self-serve portal where organizers can create token gates for their own events, controlling everything from re-entry limits to ticket customization and POAP delivery.</p><p><strong>Claim First, Download Later</strong>:</p><p>Users no longer have to have to download the tokenproof app before they claim a ticket, making it easier for them to quickly claim their spot in experiences without fear of missing out. We’ll remind them to download the app at their convenience before the event.</p><h3><strong>Highlights From a Year of Activations</strong></h3><p><strong>ApeFest Hong Kong</strong>:</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*3NW8ySXbeI-4WL2-7yzw5Q.png" /></figure><p>We had the pleasure of powering a seamless end-to-end experience at ApeFest Hong Kong, from a sophisticated ticketing process to on-site authentication, brand activations, support for side events, digital experiences and more.</p><p><strong>BMW:</strong></p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*BKbRSeC_4C-4Qw_3y9l3Fg.jpeg" /></figure><p>One experience tokenproof powered at ApeFest Hong Kong was the BMW “Ape Car” activation, where the first 212 participants earned a special POAP that could bring them future perks.</p><p><strong>adidas:</strong></p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*REwq2ucW_KK__xAovh9M7g.png" /></figure><p>In addition to integrating tokenproof into the adidas CONFIRMED app, tokenproof also powered its NFT.NYC event and debuted Personalized Offers with the brand, airdropping a 20%-off coupon to all attendees of the NFT.NYC activation.</p><p><strong>PUMA:</strong></p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*L3-3_GY5DYSVArmt3gD_Dg.png" /></figure><p>We created an in-app quiz for Super PUMA holders that drew in more than 400 participants in only one week. Later that day we’re excited to power the Yacht Club Open House at Kai Tak from 2–7 PM, where non-BAYC members will get to see for the first time what being part of the <strong>Bored Ape Yacht Club</strong> (and, for some, the Web3 space) is all about. For example, the owner of a Cel Mate token sporting a particular shirt could receive 25% off from their online purchase on The Dudes website, or by authenticating their token IRL at its Berlin storefront.</p><p>Because tokenproof’s Shopify integration allows stores to gate products based on <em>any</em> token, we’ve had the opportunity to facilitate major collaborations bringing traditional and web3 brands together.</p><p>In April, Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 used our Shopify integration to bring World of Women holders <a href="https://hoh.worldofwomen.art/">access to a collection</a> of custom jewelry and clothing made in collaboration with the co-founder and creative director of the community.
