We were trying really hard to get student discount but without any chance. So we had to pay full price :-/

Weather seemed to be pretty OK, but while we were going up by bus somewhere to the middle of mountain, the weather started changing a lot.

We woke up early morning because we wanted to to to Guilin but at the bus station we changed our mind and stayed in Guilin. Because we didn’t have breakfast in hostel we decided to go to West street to take a breakfast. To be honest, our plan was to leave our bikes in the bus station (this is really long story) but while we are having breakfast we got a message if we returned the bikes :-D so we went to the place we rented bikes and returned them. Then we just walked to the bus station and took a bus to the airport. We got a lot of free time here, so we’re just trying to kill that time somehow. Can’t wait to be in Zhangjiajie! Leaving in two hours!

Ok, the plane was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. We were lucky, we found probably the last one which was going to garage and took us for free to a city centre. Then we found our hostel, which wasn’t not so good as previous ones… Then we ordered our dinner completely in Chinese :-D After dinner we talked to a really polite girl at reception who recommended us some thing for the next day for Tianmen Mountain and then we went sleep because of long day ahead of us.

We woke up early morning to catch a bus going to those rice terraces. Because the bus was almost empty it didn’t go on highway but on a really fucked up road. So we expected it’s gonna be really fucked up day… And we were right. We spend much more time in the bus than expected, we got angry to each other and we were fuckin’ unprepared.

When we arrived, we were complaining about entrance tickets, then we had to change bus. We just got in, it was really dangerous way in hills, the driver drove that car like he stole it. In that bus we started shouting at each other and people in the bus were just peering at us. We were really angry and nervous because we weren’t sure what the fuck is going on. We got off the bus and after a short discussion we decided we’re not gonna give up so we entered and tried to enjoy the terrace together. It was really unbelievable. It’s masterpiece. Big terraces and pretty amazing view!

Unfortunately, we were able to see only one out of three terraces due to lack of time. On three different maps we got three different places for the address of the hostel we’d booked before (a hostel with nice mountain view). After a while, we found, on booking.com there is one more hostel with the same name but closer to the city. So we got nervous a bit because of the weather and changed our reservation to this hostel. Unfortunately, we got a room without any view (there is just another wall) :-/ My friend got really upset and it was like that all day. I was all day too tired because I slept maybe 12hours in last three days. So I just slept today and we did laundry and had dinner.

Now I’m just gonna sleep more and enjoy it here tomorrow.

Fuckin’ bad sleep in our room. We were woken thousand times again because a Chinese girl in our room always complains about some shit. Why the fuck these people sleep in shared rooms if they have stupid requirements…

We ‘woke up’ before 7am again to catch our train from Chengdu to Leshan. Everything is fuckin’ far away here, which already annoys me. This morning, we were in hurry but we are traveling with a cool guy from Argentina who we met in our hostel.

After arrival we took a public bus to get there. Climbing down to the Budha took us almost one and half hour due to unbelievably long queue of people. I was really pissed off because it’s full of people and Chinese people are not willing to wait. They have to be everywhere as the first ones. This is annoying, but we made it.

To be honest, that Budha is not the most worthy place to see there. Quite modern and clean.

When we came to hostel, we just packed all our stuff and got ready for the next day.

Today we woke up early morning, took breakfast and went to the panda reservation. It’s recommended to go there between 9–10am because we can see them eating and playing. This recommendation was right. We really enjoyed the morning and in the afternoon all of them were sleeping again. And the small ones, they were soooo cute!

We arrived back to hostel around 4pm, we played billiard and taking a rest for a while. Then we just went bought tickets for our next trip for tomorrow — Leshan, Giant Budha. In the evening we were hanging out with guys from our hostel and around midnight time to go to bed because we’re gonna wake up early morning again.

This time we sleep with room with Chinese people and to be honest, it’s not my cup of tea. We don’t sleep well here because they always wake up by doing something and so on. But we have to deal with it somehow… So good night!
