On the eve of the mainnet launch, LumiWave released the official LumiWave Protocol Whitepaper. The LumiWave team carried out the proposal for the transition to an independent mainnet and the establishment of a new economic framework, which had received overwhelming support through two rounds of DAO governance voting in January and February. As a result, the LumiWave Protocol mainnet was officially launched on April 1.

This launch represented more than a simple network change. It was a strategic upgrade aimed at building an expandable ecosystem that extended beyond a single game to support multiple IPs, AI content, and Real World Assets (RWA). Assets such as NFTs, items, and points — previously separated by game titles — were integrated into a single layer. The introduction of a walletless UX based on Web2 accounts and Gas Abstraction significantly improved accessibility, while the LWP economic framework established a sustainable reward system for network participants.

Alongside the mainnet launch, existing LWA tokens were migrated to LWP coins at a 1:1 ratio. Exchange-held volumes were coordinated for automatic migration, while private wallet holders completed the process manually through the official migration page. Sui was required as gas for the transaction, and the process supported PC environments with Keplr, Cosmostation, and Leap Wallet. The migration window was announced as one year from the start date.

This migration applied only to LWA tokens and did not affect SSR, in-game assets, or NFTs. The initiative did not represent a departure from the existing network, but rather a strategic expansion to support LumiWave’s independent growth.

LumiWave Protocol(LWP) Mainnet Migration Guide

Before the mainnet opening, the LumiWave team provided detailed security guidelines and a bridge usage guide to protect users’ assets. It was clearly announced that the bridge function would only become valid after 11:00 AM (KST) on April 1, and that any attempts made before that time would be considered invalid. Users were strongly advised to use only the official bridge site and were reminded that team members would never send private links.

As part of the migration procedure, users logged in with their SNS accounts, after which their Sui wallet was automatically recognized. They were then instructed to connect a Cosmos-compatible wallet such as Keplr, Cosmostation, or Leap. Troubleshooting steps were provided for cases where wallet addresses did not appear, including refreshing the page and unlocking wallet extensions. Users were also guided to ensure that the LumiWave Protocol mainnet had been added to their wallet before proceeding.

To apply for migration, users entered the amount of LWA to convert and pressed “Send,” with repeated reminders to verify wallet addresses beforehand.

The FAQ explained that a Cosmos-based wallet was required for LWP, provided steps to resolve wallet connection issues, and advised users to check network settings and reconnect their wallets if their LWA balance appeared as zero.

On April 1, we will officially launch the LumiWave Protocol (LWP) Mainnet. This network is designed to go beyond the limits of a single game, supporting a vast ecosystem that encompasses multiple IPs, AI content, and Real World Assets (RWA).

Below are the key changes to the new mainnet created by our community’s choice, along with instructions for a safe asset migration.

Furthermore, we will securely connect real-world value (RWA) such as concerts, tickets, and merchandise, along with AI-based data services, to the on-chain economy.
• Walletless UX: Connecting Web2 Convenience with Web3 Value: Users can enter the ecosystem using familiar Web2 social accounts without the hassle of managing complex seed phrases or installing specialized wallets. Gas Abstraction technology minimizes fee burdens, maximizing user immersion.
• Sustainable Tokenomics & Strong Reward System (LWP Economic Framework): We will provide robust rewards to participants who contribute to network security and embrace the early stages of the transition.

🔄 LWA ➔ LWP Migration Guide

With the mainnet launch, a migration will take place to convert existing LWA tokens to the new mainnet’s LWP coins at a 1:1 ratio. Since Sui is consumed as gas for transactions, please ensure you have a small amount of Sui in your wallet.

• For Centralized Exchange (CEX) Holders: We are currently in discussions to ensure that volumes held in exchange wallets are migrated automatically. We will provide updates as soon as they are finalized.
• For Private Wallet Holders: You must perform the conversion manually by visiting the official LumiWave migration page.
• Supported Wallets: Keplr, Cosmostation, Leap Wallet
• Note: To ensure a stable transaction signing experience, please use a PC/Desktop browser (such as Chrome). (Mobile environments are not supported).
• Deadline: Within 1 year from the migration start date.

LumiWave Protocol Node & Validator Governance Proposal

Following the successful approval of LumiWave’s independent mainnet transition, the ecosystem now moves into its next phase: building and operating the network itself.

This second governance proposal focuses on the node and validator structure, as well as the strategic minting and reward framework for the next six years.

By upgrading LWA into the native coin of the LumiWave Protocol, LumiWave secures full control over network security, scalability, and long-term expansion — enabling seamless integration of global IPs and real-world asset (RWA) services on its own mainnet.

In the early stages, LumiWave prioritizes strong network security through collaboration with professional infrastructure partners, offering enhanced rewards to reach the network’s security threshold as quickly as possible.

Why are we using the DAO voting mirror token, LWADAO?

This proposal is open to all LWA holders and will be conducted via
Snapshot.org, a widely used decentralized governance platform.

However, Snapshot does not natively support the Sui mainnet.
Due to this technical limitation, LWA cannot be directly connected for voting purposes.

To ensure fair and inclusive participation, LumiWave will issue an ERC-based DAO voting mirror token, LWADAO, exclusively for this vote.

What is LWADAO?

• A Snapshot-only voting token that mirrors LWA holdings at a 1:1 ratio
• Created solely for governance voting purposes
• Does NOT affect LWA ownership, balances, or tokenomics
• Automatically expires after the voting period ends

To realize this grand vision of mainnet transition, we are now proceeding with the second phase of the approval process regarding the ‘Network Infrastructure Configuration and Long-term Economic Framework (LWP Economic Framework)’. This proposal is a crucial process that goes beyond the stable settlement of the initial network to lay the foundation for the self-sufficiency of the LumiWave ecosystem for decades to come.

1. Proposal Overview

This proposal aims to establish a reward system where LumiWave can secure both security and scalability as an independent mainnet and all participants can grow together.

• Securing Mainnet Sovereignty & Infrastructure Advancement: Upgrading LWA to a native coin to secure scalability and building an independent ecosystem capable of directly accommodating large-scale global IPs and Real-World Asset (RWA) services.
• Establishing a Strategic Validator Network: Maximizing initial network security and securing ecosystem trust through collaboration with global partners and professional operators.
• Introduction of Sustainable Incentive Mechanism: Providing strong rewards to early participants to accelerate network growth and establishing long-term asset scarcity through step-by-step supply control.

2. Strategic Minting & Reward Structure

LWP adopts the ‘Strategic Supply Inflection Point’ model based on ‘2-year cycle reward optimization’ to achieve long-term value stability while securing initial ecosystem momentum.

This model is designed based on the System Automatic Inflation essential for maintaining the security of the DPoS consensus algorithm, and applies an Annual Maximum Minting Limit (Max Cap) to comply with exchange disclosure standards.

• I_n: Inflation rate for the corresponding year
• Mn: Annual increased supply for the corresponding year
• S{n-1}: Cumulative total supply up to the previous year

LWP controls inflationary pressure through 2-year cycle reward adjustments based on this formula, guaranteeing overwhelming contribution value to early participants.

3. Reward Allocation

LumiWave Protocol (LWP) sets the reward flow based on routing so that ecosystem expansion can continue in the long term while securing initial network security and operational stability. This structure aims to prevent indiscriminate distribution of rewards into the market, and management of the Operation Vault accumulation and execution is handled transparently under governance principles.

• Network Participation Reward Routing (83%) Routed to operational entities maintaining consensus stability, availability, and data accessibility of the network.

• High Risk, High Reward: Breaking the security threshold We aim to provide the strongest rewards (34.41%) to the community that takes responsibility for the initial security of the network, betting on the uncertainty of the initial mainnet transition. This is an expression of our will to quickly break through the ‘security threshold’ by encouraging early validator participation.
• Orderly Exit of Supply: Establishing long-term scarcity Adjusting reward quantities every 2 years is a promise to increase asset scarcity over time. By gradually reducing the speed of supply, we aim to create an environment where the asset value for early participants can trend upward in the long term.
• Transition to a Self-Sustaining Economy: Entry into a mature network When the inflation rate reaches the 4.41% level at the end of the roadmap, LWP enters a period where ‘service fees within the ecosystem’ become the main driver of rewards rather than new minting. This signifies the completion of a healthy protocol that operates on its own even without artificial rewards.

LWP adheres to the following principles for transparent and stable network operation.

• Reward Routing and Distribution Management Rewards are distributed according to the routing structure of network participation and ecosystem expansion, and quantities accumulated in the Operation Vault are executed step-by-step through the DAO approval process.
• Proof of Contribution Operation Vault execution is proposed based on contributions to network operation and ecosystem growth rather than simple holding, and is approved through DAO voting.
• Step-by-step Decentralization Roadmap In the early stages, priority is given to network stabilization and establishing a core operating system, after which operation and execution rights are gradually transferred to community-centered governance.
