Welcome home

Welcome to Christian and Jeffery!! Christian born just the day after Christmas and Jeffery arrived a week ago. Congrats to my nieces and I wish both of you many restful nights & lots of luck. I could kick myself for forgetting my camera in the car when I went to see the latest addition, who is gorgeous of course. But since I have the chance I have some pictures of Christian. I haven’t got to see him up close and personal yet since my nieces moved several states away last spring. Anyone know my title to these 2 angels? Am I a grand-aunt!? If I add “grand” to my title does that also add 30 years to my age?

I’ve got quite a few things coming up for you in this next week or 2. Not only does the 1st come with the new DAC collab, which you are all going to love, it also marks the beginning of the DST blog train. I have a great little kit for you all so be sure to check back on Saturday and all through the week so you don’t miss anything.

No. I am not color blind. I do see the pink. Still. And yes. There are flowers. This kit began with a heritage wedding theme but I think the babies may have affected my mind set slightly during this creation process. Even so, the classic white and brown combined with romantic pink, lilac, and pale avacado make this kit a stunnin fit with any wedding photos. I really like the elements in this kit. I had such a great time making the little gem studded paper peacock, chipboard dove, and especially the pale cut stone flowers. I see myself coming back to this over and over and hopefully you will too! Since my mind was so distracted with little ones, although this kit isn’t right for them, it would be a wonderful match for baby girls. I have an old picture of my daughter dressed as a fairy I think would look incredible in this kit.

Special thanks

I have a very special thank you for Jan J who left a comment and let me know what she wanted to see in this element pack. Fall flowers, bows, ribbons, airy doodles…. I’m not sure I got exactly what she was looking for, but since she was so kind as to help out with this kit, I’ve sent her my lastest kit for free. Thank you Jan! Check your e-mail. I did enjoy making these elements, and it’s not a really large kit, but I like it. Hope you will too! Includes 24 elements: 2 different bows, 3 ribbons, 3 folded, stitched ribbons wrapped around a ring, a colored floral stamp, 1 stacked frame, 1 clustered frame, 2 mums, 1 paper flower, 1 mini wooden button, 1 “as autumn comes” wordart, 1 lace strip, 1 torn journaling tag, and 2 postage stamps.
