Inspired?

I know it’s been a couple weeks since I came out with a new kit, but I’ve just finished the main kit for something new I know you’re all gonna love. I’m just not feelin’ it. I’ve gone and pulled together a bunch of new color schemes, browsed galleries, bought new and rummaged through my old scrapbook mags, and even picked up some holiday decorating magazines too. That inspiration isn’t coming to me though. What do you do when you’re feeling less than creative? It’d be great to have some fresh ideas when I sit at PSP tomorrow to work on the add-on. I’ve put up a new poll over to the right. I’d love to hear from you so I can give you exactly what your looking for!

Last one for now

Thanks to everyone for stopping by and visiting. This is the last of the megakit freebies for this month. I’ve enjoyed giving this stuff away so hopefully I can do it again in a few months. Special thanks

I have a very special thank you for Jan J who left a comment and let me know what she wanted to see in this element pack. Fall flowers, bows, ribbons, airy doodles…. I’m not sure I got exactly what she was looking for, but since she was so kind as to help out with this kit, I’ve sent her my lastest kit for free. Thank you Jan! Check your e-mail. I did enjoy making these elements, and it’s not a really large kit, but I like it. Hope you will too! Campout party

I was so honored yesterday when fellow DAC designer Phillsboo used my Varsity Page Kit for these 2 layouts.

I just had to go and pick up her latest kit, Bubblegum, which is so cute and easy to work with, to do a layout also. For her 11th birthday, my daughter chose to have a campout party. It turned out great by the way, if your looking for birthday ideas, this one was the best ever and all the girls had a blast. We roasted hotdogs and made smores that night (of course) and had a breakfast of doughnuts and hot chocolate. Phillsboo’s kit was perfect for the pink PJs.

Autumn is a second spring

Scrap That! Here’s the list: a torn edge, a button, a leaf, lace, a striped paper, string, and a tag. What do you do with them? Make a layout of course! Use those items plus whatever else you want and send me a link to yizzi2000@yahoo.com. Use any kits from any designer from any store. I’ll send you these posting bonuses. A paper pack, a template, and the elements you see on the template plus a tag (not shown). Of course we’d love it if you joined us in the forums!

Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower. I really liked this quote and had to do something with it. So I trashed this week’s kit and did the autumn thing instead. Put these papers together this afternoon and haven’t got the elements done yet. What would you like to see added to these papers? Leave a comment and let me know. I’ll have them up in a couple days and a quick album a couple days after that.

Games and Prizes!

I have a couple of things to tell you about today. There will be more freebies starting again in a couple days. I have another set in the megakit to upload, so don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t yet! OK. Here’s my jigsaw piece. Just right click and click on “save as”.

Get this gorgeous page kit by Lynn Griffin. How to play? It’s so easy!!! Check out our designers blogs this week-end… I have just sent 5 pieces into the cyber space, they will be blogged… When you have downloaded all 6 pieces, (HINT: Check the other designers’ blogs) put them together to reconstitute the kit’s preview and watermark your preview with your forum username. Then go upload your jigsaw to the Jigsaw Album in the gallery.

And that’s it! You will be sent the page kit!!!

Melo’s put together a couple of Quick Pages for you using this kit also. Head over to the DAC blog to pick it up.

Some of my CT has been so kind as to add to the Quick Pages I gave you for “My Wish”. Be sure to pick them up too and your album will be almost complete! If you missed the free kit, click the “Megakit” tab at the top of the page. If it’s not there, it will be soon.

Back on schedule

Power’s been out, but finally, I have my desktop computer back and a stable DSL connection. Now I think I’ve started to get back on schedule. Birthday presents, challenges, and freebies just because….

Well, I’ve gotten 40 megs closer to emptying that folder. Soon, I’ll be able to combine everything I want to keep, trash what I don’t, and figure out what to do with the rest.
