Out my front door

Out my front door a cold spell has come through. It kept me from working in the yard today, but I’m confident tomorrow will be better. I’ve got an old wheelbarrow out back I keep meaning to fill with dirt and flowers. Next year, because I waited too late this year, I’ll replace the irises that will be in the corner behind the wheelbarrow, with a clump of glads. Add a little container garden around part of the front of the new “raised bed” and voila! a beautiful area near my back door as well. I’ll have to remember to take pictures of the process. The cooler weather, though, did allow me the time to finish several things I was working on.

I’ve got 2 new minikits out at Inspired Scraps. Sweet Chic and Today are both great for this time of year. I really like the playfulness of Sweet Chic. With the cutout tree and cute bird, I see myself using this for my toddler aged nieces. I know which pictures I’m using even! And you can’t forget about those boys who are always left out in the digiscrap world. Today is a grungy kit in blue, brown, and kinda seafoam green. Perfect for outdoor activities or indoor lounging. I’ve also got a couple of CU items out. I know, I don’t normally do commercial use. You don’t have to be a designer to use them! Layered grey-scale templates are the ultimate way to get more from what you buy. Match them to any kit or pull the colors directly from the photo itself. Use the stamps directly on papers or photos. Recolor and/or adjust blend modes to instantly add flair to what you already have or create totally new desings. **No Credit**

Kung-Fu lessons

I hope you all had a beautiful weekend same as me. We all had a lot of fun at the campout. They even put on a real Kung-Fu demonstration during the day. This was a big hit with both the kids and adults. The weapons were, of course, very cool. Later that evening, boyscouts in canoes lit luminaires and set them adrift on the lake. The campgrounds had been strung with paper lanterns that made for an amazing display even though my photography skills are not good enough to capture this stunning scene without a tripod.

Today is the last day for 40%-60% off everything in my store. This sale will expire some time tomorrow (Tuesday). I haven’t started on my kitchen yet. But I am kinda thinkin about maybe starting tomorrow…. Maybe.

75 and partly cloudy

Could it get any nicer? I can’t buy any more flowers until next month. Really…. Except for when the other nursery has it’s been spring sale next weekend. And then, no more until next month. Yeah. Then.

Bee Mine

Good morning! Doesn’t matter what time of day it is, I prefer to say good morning. I just think it sounds so cheery and pleasant. So good morning! And have a great day!

DAC’s February collab is at the store and this is one you have to have. This is such a fun megakit and filled with so much inspiration for both Valentine’s layouts and getting ready for Spring layouts. Definately one you’ll be using all through spring.
