Linder Farms

Last weekend we headed out to Linder Farms for some fun. Let's just say it was not the best weather and we slightly rushed through the activities due to cold toes and the warmth of Grana and Grandpa's hot tub was calling us. The kids loved it and Kylie was in heaven on her pony ride and Ethan enjoyed the pony ride for 30 seconds then decided it was the worst thing ever. The best part was the mini donuts! :) Here is a gazillion pictures of the adventures!

Apple Picking

Another favorite fall activity in the Meyer family is apple picking! We (minus Jared, he had to head to work) headed out to Cabalo's Orchards & Gardens in Kuna to do our picking. I just love this farm. The owners greet you when you arrive, walk you through the picking process, show you what apples are which, and answer any questions with a smile! They also have a pumpkin patch which was full of white pumpkins! Yes! I love white pumpkins! The kids had so much fun snacking and helping pick apples. The weather was gorgeous (almost too warm for fall!)and the fresh apple cider they have at their stand is SO good. Now I have to make applesauce out of the 15.5 pounds of apples I bought!

Last weekend my mom and I headed out to the Botanical Garden for a last minute visit to the Fall Garden Festival. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a blast running around and we even ran into some friends (which is always nice!)   Here is the picture dump! :)

As much as I love summer when fall arrives in Idaho I do love it as well! Gotta admit I am a sucker for a pumpkin patch, apple picking, hay ride kind of fall. We kicked off the fall season by heading out to The Berry Ranch to hitch a ride on a tractor out to a pumpkin patch to pick out our first of many pumpkins. The kids had a blast getting dirty and hunting for the perfect pumpkins.  The kids only had a couple of meltdowns this go around, progress is being made people! :)
