Mason's First Temple Trips

I recently went to the temple for the first time and it was incredible. as soon as I walked in I couldn't stop smiling. The funny part abut this trip is that Dad had somebody elses temple recommend so they had to look him up to let him in.  We think the clerk accidentally printed it wrong. After going in we went and go the baptismal clothes, then changed, and got in the font. My Dad got to baptize me and 13 people in Heaven were very happy that day because they had the chance to be baptized. Grandma and Grammie were witnesses. One of the people I go to be baptized for was Grandpa Dennis's brother and his great grandpa. Then we did confirmations and Dad, Grandpa Buckner, and Grandpa Dennis all took turns doing the confirmations. Mom also did baptisms for some female family names and Grammie did their confirmations.

Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at Dennis and Linda’s house having our traditional Mexican food dinner, reading the Christmas story, and playing some games. Then all the grandparents came to our house Christmas morning. We had fun opening presents and then spent the day playing games (we got lots of games for Christmas). Some of our favorites are the Dude Perfect Game, Mario Life, Uno show no mercy, Uno Dare, uno quarto. Ethan also got a snow cone machine that he shared with everyone.

A few days before Christmas someone knocked on our door and when we opened it we saw Santa Clause! He came in and gave everyone some candy and said the kids had been so good this year that they got an early visit. Logan said - Santa! I just have one question - am I on the good list? When Santa said yes he was SO excited and happy!

Snow!

The other day when it snowed Logan went to play in the backyard before school. After a little while he ran back in yelling - Mom, I’m scared! I think Bigfoot was in our backyard! He had me follow him outside and showed me some very large footprints. They definitely looked like Bigfoot prints! I couldn’t figure out what they were from since none of us had been in the backyard. I was definitely confused. Later he told me he made them. I was super impressed. They were very well done and both feet looked similar size and shape.

Here’s some more pictures of fun in the snow. We’re so lucky to live just a few blocks from some great sledding hills!

Gingerbread Nativity

It’s one of our traditions to make gingerbread houses together every Christmas season - with homemade gingerbread. We decided to do a nativity this year and some smaller regular houses. It was a lot of fun!
