Milestone is a Japanese brand that mainly develops headlamps. Its founder, Shuhei Nishioka, is also the third generation "younger brother" of the family-run company Fuji Lighting Co., Ltd.
Fuji Lighting Co., Ltd. was founded in 1920. "Fuji" represents a Japanese mountain, and "lighting" means lamp.
Since its founding, the company has been manufacturing carbide lamps using acetylene gas.
They were primarily used as lamps for miners, but later came to be used by fishermen and street vendors.
The second generation maximized the possibilities of "light" and developed tools that could be used for night fishing.
"ZEXUS", launched by the third generation, has secured a share in the Japanese fishing tackle market and gained the trust of users.
The third generation "younger brother" loves the outdoors and has worked hard to develop a "headlamp that can be used in the mountains." Recently, he has expanded the scope of his outdoor activities and is now developing items that can be used for trail running and fastpacking.
