Why do I sound pretentious?

• It’s probably because I am. Working on it.

Why are my posts full of grammar and spelling mistakes?

• Hey, don’t blame Spell and Grammar Check! It’s not their fault they are merely tools created by humans to lessen human errors. They are allowed to make mistakes too, you know!
• I know my grammar’s terrible. All those years learning English in school… they’re all for naught. When I write/ speak in English, I don’t apply all the rules I’ve learnt in school… if it sounds about right, I’ll go for that.
• “I think this sentence sounds similar to the sentence I’ve read in some books, so… it stays.”
• “I know I shouldn’t listen to Beyonce’s album so much, now imma written as bad as her did. “
• “Can you get me bodied, I wanna be myself tonight. Won’t you sing my body? I want to let it out tonight. Get me bodied!” Atrocious! Yet, catchy. 
• Don’t even get me started on Shakira!
