January Recap

Ok, I'm going to try not to make this monthly recap thing a habit. I'm trying to be better :) Ok, we're finally home after a long holiday season. Here's the recap - We went to Wichita, KS for a few days, back to Edmond, OK, then off to Van, TX and then to Daingerfield, TX, back to Edmond, then to Coffeyville, KS, to Edmond, then BACK to Van and Daingerfield and THEN back home. Macy and I spent a few days between Van and Daingerfield, while Michael went to Florida to watch OU in the National Championship game and now we a finally back home for awhile. (I'm not even going to comment on the game :) It feels so good to be back - living out of a suitcase with a 10 month old is no fun. My cousin, Justin, is getting married in east Tennessee this weekend, and I would really love to go, but I just don't think it's going to happen. (Sorry Justin - we still love you! :)

Michael's Grandmother had a big surprise for Christmas! The kids went in together and got her a trip to South Africa to visit friends of hers that are missionaries there. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. We were all so excited for her!

GiGi threw Macy a welcome party at her house. She made Mace a wonderful cake and we were so grateful. Thanks GiGi!

Happy Birthday Jack! Jack turned 3 on January 6th.

While we were in Daingerfield, Macy got to go to bible class with Ms. Joyce and her Mimi:

We got to have lunch with Austin and Jessi while we were in Texas. I miss them!

I also got to visit with my good friend Stephanie while we were in Van. Macy had so much fun playing with Presley in her playroom:

Macy turned 10 months on the 17th. I got a few pictures of her and the first one is a little after she woke up, so she's still in her p.j.'s. (I had to give her some time...she's just like Michael when she wakes up - they aren't morning people):

Jaylen and Macy...Mace LOVES it when Jaylen comes over to play. Now, Mace just likes to follow Jay around and steal her toys, but we're working on that :)

Macy and I went to the science museum with the Myers', the Mullins', and the Wells'. We had a great time...especially me, being the science nerd I am!
