Our conversation on the way into church this morning: Me: Hey Honey, where is Macy's diaper cover?
Michael: That dress didn't have one.
Me: Yes it did.
Michael: Well, I didn't see one when I got her dressed.
Me: It's new, so it should have been attached to the inside of the dress...
...and it still was. Michael put Macy's dress on, diaper cover still attached and all, and never noticed. Macy, your Daddy may struggle dressing you sometimes, but he sure does love you girl. :)
Get ready, there's a lot of them... We're finally home and we're not going anywhere for a really, really long time. I told Michael he could just set fire to the suitcases, because I didn't want to pack or even see them again. Don't worry family I'm sure I'll get over it, but as of now, you're going to have to come see us.

A lot has happened over the past three weeks. I'll try to recap...
- visited the Vaughns in Tulsa
- went Morgan's choir concert in Van
- went to the OKC zoo a couple of times
- went to Michael's OU friend, Brian's wedding (I don't know why I always refer to this poor guy as "Michael's OU friend", but I do...sorry Brian, I'll try to just call you "Michael's friend" from now on. Or better yet, just "Brian".)
- went to Kellen's graduation in Bartlesville (or at least the reception...the actual graduation was after Macy's bedtime.)
- went to Six Flags with Michael - I love that place and we had a blast! I've been wanting to go forever and I don't think I've been since high school...no, wait...there were a couple of youth trips with Memorial Road and Golf Course Road in there also.
- went to Morgan's graduation in Tyler
- went to First Monday in Canton - didn't buy much, but had my Upside Down lemonade and frozen cappuccino from Cowhill Express...I was just missing the turkey leg.
- "toured through East Texas" - Van, Sulphur Bluff, and Daingerfield visiting family
Macy and I are staying in Texas this week. We have been traveling SO stinkin' much over the past couple of months, we thought it would be a good time for Mace and me to visit family and save poor Macy that time in the car. I'm missing Michael like crazy and Macy can't wait to see her daddy. Every time she picks up a phone (real phone or play phone) she says, "Daddy?". I know Michael is missing us too, but he's been really busy with work and is buddies were nice enough to keep him busy playing golf. (Thanks Brandon and Gavan :) Michael is coming in on Saturday for my 10 year high school reunion...10 years?!? I can't possibly be that old, but somehow I am. Hmm...Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. I'll post pictures when we (finally) get home.
We've been married for 4 years and live in Edmond, OK. We welcomed our precious daughter, Macy Kate, to our family in March 2008 and we feel so blessed to have her! We also have a very handsome (and spoiled) Husky named Jack. Michael is an estate planning attorney with Vaughn, Winton, & Clark and Katie is a full-time Mom. We both love college football and playing golf together.
