Restaurant delivery profit is calculated by taking the average delivery order value and subtracting all delivery-related costs, including food cost, packaging cost, delivery commission, discounts or promos,payment processing fees, and extra labor cost. That gives you profit per delivery order. The calculator then uses your monthly delivery orders to estimate monthly delivery profit and subtracts any fixed monthly delivery costs to show net monthly delivery profit. It also calculates delivery profit margin to show what percentage of each order is actual profit.
