A look back...

Kristin found the cutest picture of Mom and the kids from an article in the newspaper in 1979.  I was just a few months old (in the back of the cart).  We were all commenting how beautiful and put together she looks for having 5 kids under 5.  I would be stressing out with all those little hands on the milk jugs!  She is such a great example of Motherhood and patience.

    

Halloween 2013

Sam has been counting down the days this week for Halloween to come!  He was so excited to go to his Halloween party at preschool.  He and his best bud Aiden were both red power rangers.

Charlee is Princess Sofia from Disney Junior and Dallin is a pirate.

It was hard to get a good picture of all 3 of them together.  

I decided to join Dal and be a pirate too.   We're mateys, Rrrrr  :)

We went to the ward trunk or treat and then down our street.  They got quite the loot.  Here is just Sam's bag!!  Yikes that's a lot of candy!

The Oregon Coast 2012

My last adventure at the Oregon Coast with my sweet Mom last year in September.  I'm so thankful for all the time I had to spend with her... I just wish it was a little longer

Hiking in La Plata Canyon

Chase didn't have patients yesterday, so we took the afternoon and drove to "La Plata Canyon" in Colorado to do some hiking, and rock throwing :)  It was a little chilly, but beautiful!

I wish Dr Heap didn't have patients more often!  :)

And here are Sam's battle wounds for the day.  (He tripped on the rocks 5 minutes after we got out of the car)  What a trooper.  

4-Wheelin with the Fam

We have the coolest neighbors!  They came over today and asked Chase if he wanted to take their razor out 4-wheelin with the kids.  Of course we said YES!  It was so thoughtful.

We had so much fun!  And who knew we had all those trails right in our back yard.  Dallin was a little freaked out at first... but it didn't take long before he was saying "fast car!"

This beautiful reservoir is like a mile from our house.  We'll definitely be back to do some fishin!  

Look out everybody!!  We've got a 4 year old on the road.

So Charlee might be my purse snatcher, but Dallin definitely has a mischievous side to him as well.  Some how (I swear they are so sneaky) he gets a hold of my camera and starts snapping pictures.  I usually hear it go off a couple times before I can catch him.  Here are some of my favorite "Dallin shots"

Purse snatcher

So my little Charlee girl gets a stool, finds my purse on the counter and dumps everything out of it almost EVERY SINGLE DAY!  She is obsessed!  Ha ha.  I think she is mostly looking for candy mints or lip gloss, but loves any treasure she can find.  I've been wanting to get her a little purse of her own so she will leave mine alone ;)  I saw one the other day at Target that was so cute... and I thought, dude I can totally make that.  I snapped a couple pictures with my phone and whipped one up the other day... What do ya think?

I think it turned out kind of adorable and Charlee seems to like it well enough!  Now we just need to find a couple gems to put in there.  :)
