When rock bottom hits, washed-up producer DOC makes one last gamble: change the sound, change the voice, change the game. He drops the track, and the result? It blows up. Suddenly, the world wants to know: Who is Mona Loser?
Inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and set to a slick, high-energy pop score, this sharp, satirical musical follows an unsuspecting girl as she's pushed into the spotlight to play the part of a viral sensation. But as the spotlight gets hotter and DOC lurks just out of frame, the question is: how high can Mona climb — and how far can she fall?

Mona Loser is still finding its feet — that's what makes this so special. During the days the team will be rewriting, so actors will have their scripts in hand and staging and costumes will be kept simple.

You won't miss out. The lottery is the first way in, not the only way. General tickets at £25 go on sale at 1pm on Tuesday 23 June via the Southwark Playhouse website — the same day as the lottery draw, so you'll know by noon whether you've won.
Your winning ticket is transferable — pass it to a friend if you can't go. Just please be considerate: one entry per person. Don't dig out your old Hotmail addresses to enter five times.

The draw happens Tuesday 23 June at 11am. We'll email everyone — winners and non-winners — by noon. Winners have 48 hours to claim their place. Public tickets at £25 go on sale at 1pm the same day, so if you don't win, you'll have time to grab a regular ticket.
Monster Package winners get two of everything — two tickets and two drinks. So yes, bring someone.
For the £15 tickets, the exact allocation per winner will be confirmed at the time of the draw. We'll always make it clear in your winning email whether the ticket is for you alone or for you and a guest.
If you win, you'll book your ticket through Southwark Playhouse. You can let Southwark know about any access requirements at that point — wheelchair seats, hearing loops, anything else — and they'll allocate accordingly.
You can also reply to the winner email and we'll flag your needs to Southwark on your behalf.
