Christmas Shopping

We love our annual Christmas Shopping Trip!  

This year we headed up to temple square and City Creek!  So pretty!

My Fair Lady

Lauren was in My Fair Lady at SHS this year.  She had so much fun!  She did a great job and it was really fun for all of us to go see her.

Lauren decided she wanted to fix the gab between her front teeth.  Lucky for her, she has an awesome Uncle Jon who is a dentist and offered to fix it for her at his cost!  Lauren and I flew to Oklahoma for a couple days to have him work on her teeth.  We had so much fun getting to see where he and his family live.  It was awesome!

Halloween 2012

My kids have always loved Halloween!

1st Grade Play

Lindsay's class performed the 3 Billy Goats Gruff for all their families.

 Lindsay was one of the Nanny Goats.  She did a great job--I loved her horns!

 Thanks to Uncle Rich, we had the coolest lawn in the neighborhood!  He painted this awesome Y on our lawn for us!  Perfect!

Back to School

It's that time of year again... Back to school!

Calvin is a 6th grader, Mrs Snow is his teacher!  Commence the ruling of the school!

Lindsay is in 1st grade--all day school.  Miss Johnson is her teacher.

Alli is a Freshman at MJHS. Lauren is a SENIOR!!!! Yikes!

Summer fun!

Oh what did we do in the summertime?

 Daddy played some golf...this day he played with "Jef the Bachelor"

 We ate giant shakes at The Trolley--this one was as big as Lindsay!

 Drove go-carts with our cousins!  Thanks for hooking us up Uncle Rich!

 Visited the Hogle Zoo...

 Tried to rescue a baby robin...Poor Paco didn't survive the night, even though we got him a real nest and fed him dog food...

Played with Clarke cousins at our family reunion in Idaho...

 Celebrated Lindsay's 6th Bday!

 Fireworks and sparklers for the 4th of July with Wilson counsins at Grandpa and Grandma Barrett's!

Wow!  When your oldest turns 17, it doesn't seem real!  I can't believe she's so old!

Provo City Center Temple Dedication

What an exciting day... We got to attend the dedication for our new temple--The Provo City Center Temple.  To be completed in 2015.  We loved the old Provo Tabernacle and were ecstatic when we got the news that after the horrible fire, instead of tearing it down, they would make a temple! 

Beautiful day!  And an important lesson that out of tragedy can come great blessings!

The start of JBJ Confections

My friend, Kelly Decker, encouraged me to start a caramel business right before Mother's Day this year.  Jeff and I worked on the concept and within three weeks time, we were up and running!  We had a lot of fun building it!  Kelly let me launch from her restaurant, The Trolley, in Springville.  

 Jeff designed our webpage.

 So excited to finally get our boxes from the printer and begin assembling!  Wooo-hoo!
