Emotion

It's a funny thing isn't it. Emotions... When did it creep into your heart, stole it, then left you there with tears streaming down your face, wishing you could change the past. Or when was it uprooted, that you couldn't feel a sense of regret or anguish when the thing you once held dear was taken from you?

Is it really that important? When you weigh it on the balance, where should it skew? Is it that important that you could spend countless hours just thinking bout it neglecting things around you, or lose yourself in alcohol to numb your feelings?

People hide their feelings. Keeping it and sheltering it from exposure in fear that it may have hurt and pain as exchange. Frustrating isn't it, sometimes. That you just want to reach into his/her mind to see what's exactly going on. Matt Parker's ability seems to be very useful(Heroes).

Just a simple post as another excuse for my procrastination. Somehow i see this word almost everywhere.

"Hey There Delilah" is stuck in my head for a few days already. Had never really liked it... till now i guess? Something catchy... I can't figure out what i like about this song.

Just now we had a get-together-celebration for Jennifer and Betty's upcoming birthdays. It was pot luck, and i brought my mum's curry mee. I thought since everyone's bringing something, then perhaps i shouldn't bring too much la. Who knows it turned out that it was in great demand! haha.. they even asked me if i have curry mee and spaghetti for open house next CNY. Come to think of it, i've never had an open house before. The rest brought KFC, Pizza hut, satay, sushi, etc... And at the end of makan-ing, we still had a whole container(big one) of sushi, wait make it two BIG containers of sushi plus a few rolls more. So karen came up with a game to stuff them all into our stomachs. At the end of the game, we'd never want to see sushi for the month(s) to come! lol.

Innocence

I’m listening to “Secret OST” now, and I’ve heard some of the earlier tracks. The songs, such as “Cao Cao”, remind me of something ->innocence. The melodies and the arrangements of the songs somehow imposed that upon me.

Innocence. You can see that in a child’s eyes as he waits eagerly for you to join him to venture into his own world of simplicity and sheer fun. Even climbing the stairs could mean a roller-coaster ride to him. And a sweet is enough to make him feel satisfied and content.

But as the child grows older, his insatiable appetite for satisfaction seems to grow as well.

How you just long to recall that innocence. The simple pleasures of life that you’ve overlooked while chasing your material dreams.

Scream

ARHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How i wish i could go to the beach now and scream all I want. And to wade in the sea, to feel the soft sand under my feet, to feel the sea breeze blowing on my face. Lastly, to just lie down on the beach, with the mild sun warming my body. and maybe to just rest there for a while.

Sometimes, you want to think rationally, and you do. But it's just too messed up in your mind that you don't know where to start. I know how u feel. :)

Nope, not complaining. Too little time to waste it on complaints.

hrm... even after i unchecked the box that allows cross-blogging, my blogs on blogspot are still imported here. Defeats the whole purpose of me getting a blogspot -_-

Secret

I just watched “Secret” by Jay Chou. It’s very nice!! For me at least. I’ve heard reviews from everywhere that it’s nice, but I was quite skeptical with “very”. I thought it was just a pleasant movie to kill some time. At first it really seemed like a typical Taiwanese movie where the acting is a bit unnatural and quixotic story line. But I think the mood of the movie was set well, and the story line was good (though there was a part that will make you go “what?? This whole story is a about supernatural incidents?” but all was well in the end). Of course I was also impressed by the jay’s piano playing. This is a movie which its plot would get stuck in my head for a while.

Relationship. It’s a funny thing isn’t it? If you’re not the one experiencing it, you might think “what’s there to be so happy about?” or “So? It’s just another breakup?” But no… it’s a completely different story if you were the main character. Often, your brain would analyze what would be the rational thing to do, but your emotions and your body would seem to ‘think’ otherwise. So often, people would end up doing things that they themselves are aware of, but just couldn’t pull themselves out of it.

Blogspot

I've created an account on blogspot. So, i'd cross blog between multiply and blogspot. I'm yet to choose which as the primary site. As for now, i think blogspot would be the main one, as i blog there and import it here. And at times i may be too lazy to move it over here. Anyways, the blogspot account is www.moonsterious.blogspot.com.

Face paint

Today i went for shopping together with lynn, eng, and siaw ching for the equipments and toys for the prefect board's visit to the Mentally challenged children centre this monday. The things we bought will be donated to them as their teaching aids to develop their psycho-motor skills, etc and also for them to have fun.
The fund was from the POC3 show that we organised earlier this year. Thanks to all who supported!

And to conduct an experiment on the face paints we bought, lynn and I tried some of the colours on our skins.. here are results: finally, some pictures on my blog!
