WODtoberFEST

 Competed in my second crossfit comp in Oct. 

It was a partner comp and a much smaller scale of one too.

Meghan and I teamed up and ended up taking 7th!

We had a good time.

We worked hard.

And we did it for Lucy!

Can't wait for the next one!

Our Little Family Vacay - Beach Bound!

Jason had work in SoCal, so we decided it was time to let Penny swim in the Pacific.

After Telluride, we headed west to the beach!

Penny was in heaven.

We spent everyday at the beach. For hours and hours.

The surf was rough.

My heart was full.

 Even Christie and Sully came down from LA to visit us!

Beach, pool...Penny was pooped.

We met friends at the beach too!

And there were lots of treats for Peeps.

Jason and I hit up Orange Coast Crossfit.

Brutal is a good word to use.

My pretty girl.

She wants to go back.

And we will take her back to the beach....soon!

Our Little Family Vacay - Telluride

 As soon as I got home from Maryland, Jason picked me up and we hit the road.

We headed to Telluride.

OMG.

Beautiful.

Amazing.

Spectacular.

Take. My. Breath. Away.

 Telluride was bursting with fall colors and the bonus is it's VERY dog friendly.

Our plan was to hike the Via Ferrata.

Wow. Oh. Wow.

That's us. 300 feet above the ground.

After our hike, we took Penny out for a hike on Bear Creek Trail. 5 miles.
We were spent, but it was all worth it.

Family Vacay 2014 - Ocean City, MD

 The Smith Clan (sans Jason) gathered in Ocean City, MD for our 3rd annual Family Vacation.

Tara put together a fun week for all of us.

Mini-golf, beach, sun, sand, games of GO FISH and OLD MAID, Yahtzee, Phase 10, lots of food, trip to Philly.

It turned out to be a great week.

 My favorite by far, D' Nic's for pork and rabe sandwich!

I think the small boy had a great week.

Looking forward to DENVER 2015!
