October

This month has brought those nasty colds and pink eye to our home. So after weeks on meds hopefully we are done with sickness for the year? Please...hope..hope. Scott got his deer! He went hunting with Uncle Howard for a few days and got nothing. Uncle Howard, Uncle Tony and Spencer went with him last weekend and got a nice 3 point!

We scored some amazing pumpkins from Uncle Tony and Jane this year. We put them to good use! Spencer and Cameron carved their pumpkins and we took them to our ward's "harvest Festival" and they won! Cameron 1st, and Spencer 2nd! They worked hard and it payed off.

Round 2

It has been a long time since we have blogged or even updated the blog.  So we are going to try and do better and journal our busy lives and save all the memories we are  making in life!  Life is so good and we are so blessed. So here's a little catch up.

We have 5 boys that are healthy and active and I feel like a cab driver most of the time as we go from practice to games to scouts, to clogging to dance. Our lives are busy, but we love it. Spencer is playing tackle football on the 5th grade Burley team. He loves it and is doing really well this year. Cameron is playing flag football and loves playing hard. He is mostly playing receiver and loves playing on the Steelers team! Spencer and Cameron are both in Scouts and they are loving it. Spencer's a Webelo for another month and Cameron is a Wolf. Different meeting times always makes it fun, but scouting is a great program and it's worth it.

Cameron is clogging again this year and wants to compete. He is on a boys team and a co-ed team-( which is hilarious because he has to lift girls :). Travis and Jon are doing a boys dance group where they get to run around and tumble and bounce and learn better coordination while dancing to loud music! This is their 2nd year and they love it.

Spencer is in 5th grade and has an awesome teacher this year and he is loving school. Cameron's in 3rd grade and is doing well. Travis started Kindergarten this year and loves being good so he can be a super star in class! Jon started preschool this year and loves it. He really wants to be a big kid like his brothers. It's only two days a week so it gives me a few hours with just me and Thomas. Thomas is two and loves to give hugs and cuddle. He is very polite always saying Please and Thank You and answering yes at the appropriate time. He is a lot of fun and loves to play and jump and is all boy. I keep myself busy driving, following, playing and containing my kids in all of our busy days.

Scott is doing great at work. He is busy all of the time and is on call a lot, but is loving being a Vet and has a whole shelf full of disgustingly cool things he has found in his patients. I think he's building his collection for a wall of weird. The boys love going with him on calls or emergencies when they can.  We love living in Burley. And even though it is a small town, and there isn't many stores for shopping, it is a great community and our ward is awesome!
We are excited to decorate for Halloween, and since there is no school for the rest of the week, I will have many helpers! We are gearing up for General Conference and are excited to listen to our Prophet and Apostles and see who will be called to fill the three vacancies.
That's all for now, hopefully I can do this more often.

Dr.T.Scott Morley, DVM

Saturday was a very special day as Scott graduated and is officially a Doctor! I cant believe how fast these four years have come and gone. On Friday Scott's dad flew in and my parents and Karianne came up that night. We spent our time loading up our moving truck and getting ready for graduation.Grandma made these really cute pendant banners that are crimson and had white sticky letters that said "Yea Daddy" on one side and "Dr. Morley" on the other! So cute. I am so proud of Scott for never giving up on his dream. Ever since he was a little boy he's loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian, and his dream finally happened. It was a great day! I have lots of pictures on my camera- except my adapter is packed and is in Burley by now, so you will have to wait on that.
I am so grateful for all the friends we have made here in Pullman and for all of their support this last year especially. There's no way I ,we could have survived without you. And just a shout out to my neighbors Christina and Marie for taking my children for the last two days so we could get things done. You are amazing! I love you both! Thanks for the little party afterwards as well Marie! We loved it!
Our moving truck left this morning with Scott's dad, and my parents left with our two youngest boys as well. its so strange not having them here with us. I am missing them soo much. We hope they have a great week with their grandparents! Scott's finishing up a week of pharmacy and Spencer and Cameron get one more week of school. And we are camping out in our living room with our air mattress and card table...Wahoo! So this week while the boys are in school I will be cleaning. We haven't been able to find a place to rent yet-who knew it would be so hard in Burley.. so we have a storage unit and we'll go from there. So excited to move on to our next adventure! Thanks to our families for helping us along the way! We love you!
Congratulations to Shilah and McKenzy on graduating from Utah State yesterday-3 Morley's graduating in one day-way to represent! Love you guys!

Survival

6 weeks is a long time to not have Scott around! But we survived. I survived. Yessss! I can go to the grocery store with 4 kids- not recomennded, but do-able. Church, library, I definately learned what I can do on my own with the kids and where my limits are. Overall, the kids did really good for me and everyone was really glad to have daddy home. My sweet neighbor, Marie came and stayed with the boys while I went and picked him up late Friday night in Spokane. The kids were so excited Saturday to wake up to Daddy. He brought us souvenirs as well. The boys each got a horse shoe that he found while out on the ranch, and a couple of rocks(This man knows his sons). I got a 6666 fleece blanket and a beautiful pressed yellow flower that he picked at sunset in a field of flowers as they were gathering up horses. He picked it because he was thinking of me and he always picks me flowers! I love it and will always keep it. He in a new rotation and we are trying to prepare for moving in a month!
So the other day I picked up Spencer's backpack, and it was heavy, so i opened it up to see what was in it and he had taken his horseshoe to school! AHHH! I am so glad noone thought it was a weapon or anything. He was able to show it in class and pass it around and they talked about why horses need shoes... he said he just wanted to show everyone what his Dad brought him. Scott was having a proud papa moment when he heard him tell all about it. Boys. This Easter we had Stake Conference and Scott came with us. We spent a nice weekend together as a family.
Were all doing good and enjoying the warm weather.. Lets hope it lasts.

It's official!

In May we are moving to Burley, Idaho! Scott accepted a position at Burley Vetererinary Hospital! Can I just say.............. I am so excited! Besides being an awesome package- its where Scott grew up, where his grandparents still live- so much closer to both of our families- and its more familiar to me since we stayed there 2 summers interning. I am so excited to live in a small country town! Yay! Now it's time to find a place to live! So excited, thought we'd share!
