Remember when I actually use to blog?
.
Well, not too much going on at our house. I can't believe summer is already coming to a close. Seems like we just barely were celebrating birthdays in the spring. Brady, Mya, Sophie and I all have our birthdays within a month of each other, so as you can imagine, funds are low during that time.
.
Mya turned four this year. FOUR! That means next year she will start kindergarten. Where is the time going? Don't ask me. I can't even post a timely blog anymore. Anyway, Mya is getting ready to start preschool again this fall. I think she needs to be in preschool, because her boring mom can't keep up with her. She is very eager to learn new things. She has discovered computer games. I can already see the picture in my head ten years from now when she is teaching me about computers and other "electronics" that I don't understand. I'll probably be wearing mom jeans by then too. Won't Mya be excited to bring boys home. Oh wait, she's not ever allowed to date, so she won't have to worry about that one.

Sophie turned one. She is growing so quickly. Every time I turn around she's into something or other. She keeps me going, that's for sure. She has seven teeth that all came in at once, and then nothing. It's been months. But, let me tell you, she uses those teeth like it's her job. That kid bites me all the time, and hard! I was clipping her nails the other day and she wasn't very happy about it, so she turned her head and bit my cheek as hard as she could. She drew blood! Who does she think she is Renesme? She's still a baldy, as you can see. She'll probably have some actual hair in about a year, just like Mya. She doesn't say much yet, just mama and dada, although last night we ALL heard her say My-My. It was precious.
.
The end.

The other day, I was reading reviews and such on Amazon and one of the topics was "favorite show that was cancelled before its time." Almost every poster said Arrested Development (I fully agree), Firefly, and Roswell. I had never even heard of Roswell. So, I went over to Hulu to see what it was all about. I decided I would give the pilot one shot, and if it was cool enough, I would conform. Not even five minutes into it, I thought I was watching a spin-off of Twilight. But actually, since this show came out in 1999, Twilight would technically be a variation of Roswell. There are so many similarities. Except this time, it's an alien saving the human. There's a Rosalie type sister. There are super-powers. There is even a scene where the two are lab partners in Biology. Only the first season is on Hulu, but I'm going to watch it, I think. We'll see just how Twilight-y it becomes. Kind of makes me wonder if Stephenie Meyer was a fan of this show. Watch it
