Keyholes

I will soon be posting a story that I wrote on my blog. The book is called Keyholes and I will post a new chapter (or part of a chapter) every week. the book is about a 13 year old girl named Abigail who has something(s) that could give her immeasurable power. But just a few days before she is about to learn the truth, she gets a few unwanted visitors. Once everything gets back to normal she decides to go to a friends house, and that's where the adventure begins.

Poetry Achievements

I have entered two of my poems into two different contests. The first was titled "I Can't Write Poems". It was entered in the Young American Poetry Digest. The second was titled "Shoes". It was entered in The American Library of Poetry 2011. Both of them were selected for publishing. "Shoes" is also a finalist to maybe win laptop computer, or iPod touch, or US savings bonds, or school's out shopping spree, or VISA gift cards, and the grand prize of a $500 US savings bond.

I Can't Write Poems

Ican't write poems
I just can't rhyme
I can't write poems
And I never have the time

I can spell, I can read
I don't keep junk
But when it comes to poetry
I just might flunk

I Like My Pencil

I like my pencil lots
We like to eat our tator tots
Especially before they rots

I think my pencil's really cool
I like to take it to my scool
Then to the swimming pool

I like my shoes

Flowers are blooming
Trees are swaying in the wind
Spring is here again
