The Lamb Prophesy is a fascinating book, impossible to put down. The author has the most incredible imagination and took me to the strangest places. Woods skillfully weaves a rich tapestry of ancient myths and religions, of which he has deep knowledge, and somehow brings it all crashing into the very world most of us are currently feeling very fragile in. Amazing.

I loved every page of this book! A relatable hero on a soul battering interdimensional quest to save a world she destroyed, with a magnificent twist at the end. The author exhibits great skill weaving the hero in and out of earthly, spiritual and metaphysical realms. My brain loved this adventure, can't wait for the next one!

This is all at once fascinating, uncomfortable, and brilliantly written. Before I go further, a warning - this is heavy on religious themes, with mental illness and CSA involved as well. Take care of your mental health first if you think this may be a difficult read. Woods does an amazing job of letting us into Lamb's world. It feels a bit odd, almost tongue-in-cheek without quite getting there, when you first start reading, but once you're a few chapters in, it just feels like the natural cadence of the book. It's once you get to know Lamb a little better, that you realize the intention isn't satire, but to illustrate her state of mind. There were a few times I needed to set the book down and step away to take a breath, because I was so wrapped up in the story, it felt like I was standing there, watching it unfold, the good, the bad, and the ugly. There are so many layers to this story, and I thought Woods handled the more sensitive bits very well, the mental illness, the religious beliefs, and the abuse. Nothing felt unnecessarily over the top, or intentionally exaggerated to comic proportions.

I loved it! This book should be a movie, so many absolutely epic scenes and characters. Woods is a master of making them come alive in the imagination.

Recommend to anyone who enjoys Neil Gaiman or maybe Dan Brown.

This is such a masterpiece. Author's meticulous research and encyclopaedic knowledge of religion and cultures shines through on every page. As I dove in I found myself completely enthralled with Lamb's journey through her different missions, realities and states of being. In this book you get to experience everything from a gritty, grubby aspects of our everyday lives to completely abstract concepts of the universe. I thoroughly enjoyed Chapter VI. where the author's imagination really kicks into an extra gear. I moved through the book on a roller coaster of curiosity, angst, joyful captivation, despair, ending on a mischievous glee when the author subverts all the expectations in a spectacular finale.

Crack your mind open and enjoy.

Intellectually challenging as it is emotionally powerful, The Lamb Prophecy is a luminous and restless journey through faith, power, and the human spirit. Jared Woods has created a story set in a universe that's both mystical and deeply personal, offering a gripping, unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.

Jared has created something very special with The Lamb Prophecy. It's an eratic ride through the eyes of Lamb that I really couldn't predict. Every time I sat down to read I was blown away by some kind of cosmic event within the story. There are extensive references and explanations of religious stories and theories which shows how well Jared has studied theology, which really brings the book to life.

The end of the book came far too quickly and now I'm itching for more.

Beautifully written and extensively researched, The Lamb Prophecy is an intriguing and captivating read. Highly recommend.
