Life Flight Helicopter!

I haven't posted on my blog FOREVER!  Last night we watched the fireworks at Fox field and the helicopter landed just as the fireworks were finishing up.  Cooper REALLY wanted to go up to the gate and see the helicopter up close.  When he got up to the gate, the pilot was refueling and doing a couple of things still.  He said to Cooper, "What are you doing?"  Cooper said, "Just checkin' out your helicopter."  "Wanna come take a closer look?"  YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!Image
Cooper jumped right in and was loving EVERY second of it!
Image
Bridger and Sydni were nervous about getting in, so I got in to try and get them in.
Image
Dan was SUPER nice!  He let us wear his helmet and look through the night vision goggles.
Image
I don't know how Cooper held his head up!  That helmet was SO heavy!!!
Image
Checking out the mountain in the dark.
Image
 I'm a dork!
Image
Sydni started to warm up and put the helmet on too :)
Image

Image
 How is she SO cute?!?!
Image
Just chillin'...He talked to us forever and answered tons of questions and told us some stories!
Image
FINALLY everyone got in the helicopter!

Super fun ending to our 4th of July together!

Bridger's Baptism!

Bridger got baptized on February 4, 2012. It was a PERFECT day! Everything went so well and we had so much fun getting together with friends and family. Bridger was glowing all day and he looked SO handsome in his new suit!
Image
I asked Sydni to carry my stuff while I took some pictures of Bridger. Is it just me or does she look 16 in this picture???
Image
This is Cooper's new thing...the pointed finger :)

Bridger & his dad.

Love his new haircut.
Image
Me and my cute kiddos. I don't think I've ever caught so many "real" smiles from Bridger. He was REALLY happy!
Image
Image
I LOVE this pic :)
Image
A moment with Grandpa Morris. He talked to him about becoming a future missionary and gave him a card, some future missionary pencils and a CTR/soccerball tie tac. I had given him a football tie tac earlier and he was SUPER excited that he now had two and they were his two favorite sports.
Image
What a cute boy and another real smile! I figured out that making funny faces behind grandma's shoulder produced GREAT smiles :)
Image
Bridger-boy...I love you SO much! I'm SO glad that I could be a part of your baptism. It was such a special day that I will remember forever and I hope you will too. I love you buddy!

Happy Birthday Bridger!

My Bridger-boy is eight!!!
I can't believe how time flies by so quickly. It seems like yesterday that I was bawling my eyeballs out because I had just been accepted to the RN program and then found out I was pregnant. I had no idea how much this little guy would change my life. I love him more than I can explain. He makes me laugh...all the time! He makes me yell too :) He has definitely been my "handful" but he has also been my sweet, funny, helpful, tender-hearted, energetic, happy, loving, caring, smart, little boy.
I took him and the kids to Provo Beach Resort for his birthday and we had a great time!
Image
We played the arcades...which were a serious rip-off! Each game was 50 cents- $1.00 to play. Sydni wasted like $4.00 on this stupid dinosaur game that grabs little favors.
Image
LOOK! These only cost me $4.00! Oh well, she had fun playing that stupid game :)
Image
And, she got an awesome kazoo that looks like lips...AND it's her favorite color. Totally worth $4.00...right?
Image
Sydni and Cooper rode the carousel...Bridger was too cool to ride it. Sydni chose a horse, and I told Cooper to go over by her...so he chose the Handicap bench. LOVE IT!

Image
Cooper & Sydni did the play area...which they absolutely LOVED!
Image
And Bridger did the ropes course...seriously! I can't believe he did it. Here he is signing his life away.
Image
Getting suited up.
Image
Getting hooked in.
Image
And he was off!!!
Image
I was in awe watching him. He would look over at me every once in a while, but not because he was anxious and needed some reassurance. He was totally on his own and he was owning it! He cruised through the ropes like he had done it a million times!
Image
I was a proud mom watching him. I might have gotten a little teary-eyed. He is growing up way too fast :)
Image
I guess it was hard work, because he had some rosy cheeks and he was thirsty when he was done.
Image
He made it through alive, with a smile on his face! He is so big!!!
Image
While Bridger was scaling some serious heights, the other kids were climbing a dangerous 18 inches over a fully padded floor ;)
Image

Image
I hardly ever get pics of Bridge that are usable, so I had to post them. He is so dang cute. I love his curls over his ears.
Image
Bridger didn't play very many arcade games, so he used the rest of his money to bowl. It looked super fun and he loved it.
Image
More rosy cheeks. I guess they get that from me. We played hard!
Image
We opened up some presents. I love that he was excited to get a GINORMOUS box of his favorite granola bars.
Image
ALWAYS being silly.
Image
I love you Bridger! You are my FAVORITE 8-year old!!!
Happy Birthday!

Haircut for Coopy!

I LOVE long hair on my boys, but Cooper's hair needs some serious help. He has cut it 3 or 4 times in different places (Cooper & scissors do NOT mix), and his hair is fine anyway. So, we needed to start over. Here is his hair before...
Image
...and AFTER! I think it looks pretty cute on him. I didn't have any gel to make it spikey, so this is the best I could style it with some mousse.
Image
Oh my goodness...I love that boy!

OH BOY!

I know that kids often write these kind of letters to Santa...but I was NOT expecting this from my child!!!
Image

My Sydni-girl

I had to do a little post about Sydni. I tell her all the time she is my FAVORITE daughter...and she reminds me that she is my ONLY daughter. I love her though. I am SO proud of her. She is an amazing student. She always gets 100% (or more) on all her assignments and her weekly updates are always perfect. I love that she is so smart, but she is also so fun. She's also super sweet, but has some spunk to her too. I love her!
She got to have a sleepover with Riley and they donned their new Christmas aprons that Grandma J made them and made cookies with Grandma.
Image
The school chose one child out of each class to display a letter to Santa in the main hall. They chose Sydni's. Here is her letter.
Image
She was SO proud to have her letter displayed...and so was I :)
