Trenda had extra tickets to the Bingham musical. It was The Pirates of Penzance. Cade was in it as well as a few other kids from the ward so Jeff, Ethan and I went. It was wonderful and I found out that my friend Krystal's brother Dave Martin is the new theater teacher so I got to see her parents. I love them so much. I grew up hanging out at their house.
I worked one day this week and Kim gave me this amazing zuchinni bread. Of course it was expertly wrapped too.
Whitney and I tried the new Wendy's peppermint frosty and I love it!
Our good friend and neighbor Austin Lay turned 40 this week. I use to tutor him in reading. He is autistic and the sweetest person ever. His parents threw him a surprise birthday party at the church. Boy was he surprised.
Thanksgiving was with the Hughes clan at our house this year. We were missing Greg's family who were at the Cavin's. We went around the table to say something we were thankful for. I gave them a thankful scavenger hunt to help think of ideas and it was so cute when we got to Bronson. He totally understood and didn't even hesitate to say "My monster truck El Torro Loco"
Here are the only pictures I took.
We set up our Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. Baylee stopped by so she helped us do the tree.
I went to a baby shower for Kirsten Bennett Terry. I use to work with her. She is darling. It was held up in Ogden at her parents house. Their house is over 100 years old and I love it so much. They played the cutest game. They gave everyone a paper with probably 50 different pictures of children's book characters and we had to try to name them all. I knew a lot and her little nieces helped me with the ones I didn't know. It brought back so many great memories of reading books as a child.
