We ran the Dirty Dash and it was a blast. The course was a bit harder than I had expected because it was mostly up hill. The kids did the Piglet Plunge which was 1K. They had to have an adult accompany them. Addison didnt like it very much, but Donovan had a blast. We plan on doing it again next year!

More of August

One night I was on a walk with Addison and came back to a lot of banging. The three little ones were having a "parade". It was so cute, but so loud!More Catching Up

Nathan and I celebrated our ten year anniversary on the 26th. Due to all of our mishaps this year we didnt have a lot of money to do something awesome. We ended up going to see Inception on Friday night, and enjoyed the Octoberfest activities on Saturday. We had a great time and it was so nice to actually be able to spend time together.
This is when I was getting way over confident and almost fell. I was running very fast over the course.
I think Nathan and I were the only ones not bothered by being 50 feet off the ground. Seriously, people get scared way too easy. We also did the alpine slide and the zipline. We rode the tram up to the top and hiked a little way to find a good spot to do our yearly toast. The tradition started on our honeymoon and these glasses only come out once a year. I am glad we have kept the tradition going. We have not missed a single year. This year was especially beautiful and special!
I look forward to the rest of my life with my soul mate!

More Updates
He ran with his friend Anne and her husband Chad.
Addison had her Elite Olympics in May. She is doing very well in gymnastics and we are so proud of her!
If I posted anything about the month of June it would be all school pictures, cuz thats really all I did! I did my precepting in June. 135 hours of working for free on the surgical unit of Primary Children's Hospital. It was a great experience and I had a fantastic preceptor! I will post about July and August another day!Monday, August 16, 2010
Overdue Update
I know, great picture huh! At that time we discovered we would be unable to have any more children. But Nathan and I had already decided that anyway.
We had to do about $800 in repairs on my car. .
Then Nathan had a little accident and totaled his car. We were luckily able to get a really good deal on a car and help his sister out at the same time!

Our dryer stopped drying and it was literally eating our clothes, so we got a refurbished one. About a week later our washer stopped working. We got lucky on a good deal on a nearly new one. Our fridge started leaking on our floor(and still is). Our hot tub stopped working. Our furnace broke a total of 3 times I think. Good thing it was still under warranty. Our truck broke and has been sitting ever since. And the cherry on top. . . our basement flooded and we had to replace all of the flooring!!! All since November of last year! Fun huh?? I am just happy that I made it through nursing school and my family is still in one piece and we are all physically healthy!
