Verified to ISO and EN standards, these reports prove our commitment to honest, data-driven sustainability.
Safety Is Not Optional
Safety isn’t just a feature, it’s a responsibility. That’s why all Calma pods are certified by UL 962A for electrified furniture and UL 723 for fire resistance—two of the most rigorous standards in North America. Tested and verified by UL Solutions, these certifications confirm Calma’s structural safety, flame performance, and electrical reliability. Very few acoustic pods in the world meet both standards. Calma does—across every model.

Plastic
Aluminium
Aluminium: Cast in-house, sourced from local suppliers provides greener logistic processes and lower Scope 3 emissions in our facility. The result: durability, quality and reduced carbon footprint.
Fabric
We use OEKO-TEX and EU EcoLabel-certified, internationally recognized, stain-resistant fabrics. Built to withstand daily use and designed with sustainability from source to seat.
Mesh
Not just a regular mesh, these high-performance materials flex and support, breathable and strong enough to outlast years of use.
Solid Wood
Our FSC-certified timber comes from resposible forestry, processed with minimal waste in our facility. Resulting with long-lasting pieces that age gracefully with authentic wood grain.
HDF Powder Coating
HDF powder coating cures at lower temperatures compared to traditional coatings, allowing us to create low VOC and anti-bacterial surfaces. All panels produced on-site means durable finishes with less carbon footprint.
Foam
Our foams are cast and molded in-house, with density levels precisely controlled by us. Every batch is quality-checked from start to finish, resulting in products that retain their shape and comfort for years.
Basotect G+
Instead of traditional insulation materials, Basotect® with G+ technology ensures balanced sound absorption. Lightweight and low-VOC, it is free from BPA, FCKW, and CFC — making it safer for both people and the environment, Basotect is placed within Calma’s wall layers.
Melamine
Compact melamine resists scratches and impacts. Sleek and easy to clean, this material is ideal for sustainable everyday use.
Metal Powder Coating
Electrostatic powder coating is corrosion resistant and long lasting. Applied within our technology base to reduce Scope 3 carbon emissions and boost durability.
Compact Laminate
Dense, impact-resistant, water-proof. Designed for frequent and long-term use of surfaces.
Natural Wood Veneer
FSC-certified natural wood veneers are crafted with minimal waste and efficiency. The result: natural wood grain, sustainable style.

Produced in Nurus’s 45,000 m² high-tech facility, which houses all production lines, Me Too is a sustainable product with all material choices and closed-loop production.

Aluminum Injection and Metal Processing Line
All metal components of Me Too are produced in the facility’s injection and processing lines. Waste materials are re-evaluated in closed-loop production, reducing both our Scope 3 carbon footprint and the amount of wasted materials.

Internationally Certified Fabrics
The seating foam of Me Too undergoes both molding and casting processes at Nurus facilities. This ensures the use of high-quality foams that can be traced from their chemicals to their molding.
