Mahaulepu Beach
Don't even try to go to this beach if you don't have a jeep.
There are enormous crater pot holes. Kauai is the place for a jeep!
Even though it is just about 10 minutes from popular Poipu, the Maha'ulepu area on Kauai's south shore is pristine, beautiful and undeveloped and few visitors come here, partly because it takes a bit more effort to get here than to other more popular beaches on Kauai.
Maha'ulepu actually consists of three separate beaches, known as Gillin's Beach, Kawailoa Bay and Ha'ula Beach. To get to the first beach, Gillin's, drive past the Hyatt on Poipu Road. After the road becomes dirt, there is an old guard shack. Drive past it and keep following the trail, it will turn left and there will be parking right on the beach.
Gillin's is named after the late Elbert Gillin who built a house on this beach, which is now a vacation rental.

Tunnel of Trees
Tree Tunnel, a fragrant, mile-long stretch of Eucalyptus Robusta located just off Highway 50, above Koloa Town, on Maluhia Road. You can't miss it on your way south from Lihue Airport to Kiahuna Plantation Resort
I suggest playing some bagpipes, it is stunning

Wailua Falls
One of the most amazing waterfalls I have ever seen. It is so majestic and beautiful. Make sure you walk around the highway guardrail and hike down. We wore our shoes and it was super muddy but completely manageable. there are steep parts with ropes you can lower yourself down.

Queen's Bath
Natural pool carved into a lava shelf, the size of several large swimming pools.We read a lot about this place so thought we should give it a go!
Try to get there at low tide, The path down was very muddy and slippery, we wore runners and was ideal. Expect to get muddy. Have a backpack not stuff in your hand on the way down. Find roots to hold onto, and choose the lower path so you don’t have far to slip! About a 10 min scale of the slippery land then out to the volcanic rock.
Once you’re at the bottom where the rocks are, walk about 400 yards further left. Then you’re there!
We swam and was well worth it. Be safe, swim in the middle. And don’t go near the rock where the waves would come over.
