Mount Rushmore

My nephew Trevor was getting married, and we decided to take a bit of a scenic drive to Utah. We have never been to Mount Rushmore- and wish we could have stayed longer. It is beautiful in the mountains, and absolutely amazing that they've got faces on mountains!

Baylee Turns 5!

Baylee had a Pajama and Pancake Party. She asked each of her friends to come in pink or purple pajamas, we played a game with pom poms, took pictures with props, and ate pink pancakes. These little girls were hilarious! 4-5 year olds are the best!

I didn't get any of Ashlee in tumbling- she carpooled with a friend, one of those things when you have more children then you do cars and people to drive them around.

Family Pictures

We needed an updated family picture for my Grandma Betty's 90th birthday party. I asked a friend in our ward if she'd be willing to take some of us even though it was freezing outside. I was excited because we were above freezing temps- which was a really big deal. But, being in the shade and not taking into account the wind- it was really really cold! The kids had hand warmers in their shirts and pants- that's how cold it was..

Here's a few of them!

Ashlee's Orchestra Concert

Ashlee loves the viola- and she works very hard at it. When we moved here she was 2 years behind all the kids in school, but with only a couple months of private lessons she has caught right up!

We love watching her play, and love watcing her learn and succeed!

Cell Phone Pictures

I am terrible at remembering my camera- luckily I have a cell phone that takes decent pictures. Here they are with some captions- and a lot of them are kind of old...

Baylee's ENT visit for her hoarse voice. Found out after they scoped her she has vocal cord nodules- and it's not common for 2 year olds to have them already:/

Carly's 3rd grade teacher has what's called "College Friday" and the kids are encouraged to wear college shirts to get the kids setting goals for college. Carly wrote a letter to South Dakota State to ask about their fashion design program and they sent her back all these fun things.

Baylee got a stomach flu that caused her to throw up for over 30 hours every 20-30 minutes. She was so weak she couldn't stand anymore, and I was a bit panicked! She looks asleep in this picture, but she's actually awake, she just was too weak to open her eyes and lift her head. After some anti nausea meds and finally getting her to keep fluids down, it took another 2 days but she was back to her normal silly self.
