Cut via tactful glitch extracts, emotive landscapes, and moving organic ambience—fans of classic downtempo IDM from artists such as Arovane, Boards Of Canada, Deru, EOG, Lusine, Phonem, and Yasume will certainly enjoy Anomaliac. Kudos to Olaf Wempe for replenishing the past and fusing a musical smorgasbord into the now.

Qualupa

Qualupa is a song from Normally Invisible‘s Troelstrakade period, and was written entirely on the AKAI S3000XL sampler, with the Atari 1040 as a sequencer.

Samples from Dead Can Dance, THX1138, Miranda Sex Garden, Moloko, LTJ Bukem, and self-crafted S3000XL acid synthesis.

Released on Dutch Dance ’99

Propelvis

Written by Olaf Wempe and Marcus Graf.

One of the most insane tracks from our Demo 99/00. Master Beat Mangler Marcus Graf created the broken bits of the drumtrack, and Olaf Wempe’s solo guitar is the first, unedited take.
