Valentine's Crafting Party

 OMQG's Social Committee is hosting a Valentine's Day Card Crafting Party at the Benson Library on Feb. 7th from 1pm-3pm.  Join us for some crafting fun!

 Join us Tuesday, Feb 3rd for our very own Heather Akerberg of Glad Hand Sews for her program 'From Inspiration to Finished Quilts'.  

Doors open at 6pm and meeting starts at 6:30pm.  Remember we are meeting at Westside Middle School!!

 Don't forget your 2026 dues, retreat fees, Row of the Month, and show & tell.

***Please note there was a slight cutting error in the fabric A & B requirements. The pieces should be cut at 3"x5.5" instead of 3.5"x5.5". If you've cut your pieces already, those blocks will be too big. Please trim before sewing or ff you've already assembled the A/B squares, trim .5" off the A side and .5" of the B side. Your square should measure 5.5" before you attach it the other pieces. The change has been made on the graphic below and on the printable instructions. December 2nd Meeting

 Join us to see the fun creations made by our members from the fat quarters previously exchanged!  The Dec 2nd meeting will be the Fat Quarter Project Swap along with a cookie swap.  Take home a dozen cookies for every dozen you bring!

See you Tues - meeting starts at 6:30pm and doors open at 6pm.

 

 

Winter Retreat - Jan 23-25

 

Join us for our Winter Retreat Jan 23-25 at Carol Joy Holland in Ashland. Our Retreat Committee puts on a GREAT retreat! You won't want to miss the fun (and get some projects done, too!!)

 

If you can't make the whole weekend, join us for the day - day rates available. Weekend rates - $195/members or $230/non-members.  Day rates - $65/members or $85/non-members.

 

This is at a great facility with sewing area on first floor and sleeping rooms that hold 2-4 quilters with an attached bathroom on the lower floor.

November Meeting - Community Engagement

 

Join us for our November meeting on Tues, Nov 4th! It's our community engagement meeting and we will be hearing from a Girls, Inc. representative to share their mission and how our donated quilts fit in that mission. We will also be assembling kits for all our community engagement partners. 

 

Don't forget your block lotto, orange peel block study, items for the free table, and show & tell!
