Who we are

At Onerep, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. But for most people, taking control of their personal data is difficult—it requires time, effort, and expertise they may not have. Our mission is to change that. We provide affordable, effective tools that make data protection simple and manageable for everyone.

Whether it's adding new features that improve the user experience or developing enterprise-level solutions for employee protection, Onerep remains committed to consumer interests and proven results.

  1. Onerep launch

Onerep was founded to address a growing problem: the widespread exposure of personal data online and the lack of simple ways to remove it. From the start, the goal was to give people an accessible, effective way to take back control of their information.

  2. 1 million records removed

Reaching the milestone of 1 million records removed from data brokers demonstrated both the scale of personal data exposure online and the effectiveness of the service. Simultaneously, Onerep expanded its services to businesses and partners, introducing a B2B program and API.

  3. Product & UX upgrade

Onerep released a major platform redesign to make the user experience more transparent and intuitive. The updated dashboard provided more details on removal progress and remaining exposure.

  4. SOC 2 Type II certification

The SOC 2 Type II certification confirmed that Onerep's systems and processes meet high security and data protection standards. This independent assessment reinforced the company's commitment to safeguarding user information.

  5. Expanded data broker coverage

Previously focusing on people-search sites, Onerep adds non-public data brokers to its coverage. This broadens the scope of protection, helping users remove their data from a wider range of sources.

Why we do what we do

  • Privacy should be affordable for anyone who wants it.

This is what I said to myself when I started Onerep back in 2015 after having heard some truly scary stories of people being stalked after their private information had been exposed by a data broker site and them being unable to buy expensive manual help to recover their privacy."

  • Our cutting-edge technology stops violations of your privacy quickly and without effort from you.

Onerep essentially acts on your behalf, powering through tiresome opt-out procedures that dozens of data brokers impose on you if you choose to delete your information from their databases. Thus, technology, which deprives us of privacy, serves to restore it."

  • People-search sites want you on their platform as they sell your information for profit.

Therefore, these sites make it very hard for you to “opt out” or remove yourself, making it nearly a full-time job. Few people can afford this kind of time, or the alternative: hiring someone else to do the opt-outs manually. As a result, privacy becomes a luxury reserved for privileged groups."

  • Like-minded businesses use the Onerep technology to help their customers and employees live safer lives.

As the only fully automated platform that removes consumers’ private records from more than 870 data brokers, Onerep is built into a number of leading identity protection solutions and serves as the key component of the consumer privacy protection ecosystem."
