Apabila keputusan rasmi powerman dikeluarkan utk kategori lelaki keseluruhan (men elite,open,veteran,dll) dan individu keseluruhan (campur semua kategori lelaki dan perempuan), saya adalah peserta terakhir yg berjaya mencatatkan masa dibawah 4 jam (sub-4hrs).hanya 24 saat sebelum mencecah 4jam tepat. tq snap attack for the pic.

my second race in Powerman Malaysia.

i could see that many participants using the saucony running shoes, especially the Kinvara.

unofficial timing , 3:59:28, including timing in transition. i took many times to capture my timing using my E72.

our relay team got 1st runner up in men relay category,the other one got no 5.

me and tuan aiman.he clocked 3hrs 33mins in this race. beautiful numbers, and same as his timing in 42km full marathon.The other seniors also did well as their timing were around 3:30. a good example to the juniors, too.

Race analysis

1st run 11km: 46minutes. Achieved my target (sub-50minutes). The weather was good at the morning and maintained estimated speed of 14km/h. (15km/h =11KM in 44 minutes). Most of elite duathletes clocked sub-40 minutes, and the fastest one around 34 minutes.

64km bike: my cycling timing was just enough 2 hours (my target-sub-2 hours/avg 32kmh.). the duathlon rule is simple- NO DRAFTING.

2nd run 10km- failed to get a timing under 50 minutes. i experienced muscle cramped, and a very hot weather worsen the situation. Perhaps it is the hottest powerman in the world..hahha.. I stopped at each water station for drinking and at the same time wetting my body. 59 minutes for 10km, that is my timing.

Conclusion

I am satisfied with my timing, as I am targeting to clock sub-4hrs in this 11km-64km-10km race. Less than a minute to 4hrs, but a little bit disappointed with my 2^nd run, as it should be faster than what was happened. Powerman Malaysia 2011, a well organized race, beautiful race and finisher t-shirt, as well as beautiful medal.

Peserta Belgium Juara Powerman Malaysia 2011

LUMUT: Peserta dari Belgium, Rob Woestenborghs menjuarai kategori Lelaki Elite Kejohanan Powerman Malaysia ke-10 anjuran Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff) di sini yang berakhir pada Ahad.

Bagi kategori Wanita Elite pula, peserta Czechlovakia, Radka Vodickova muncul sebagai juara, mereka masing-masing meraih hadiah AS$5,000 dalam kejohanan ini.

Kejohanan ini disertai seramai 1,035 orang atlet dari 30 buah negara termasuk Australia, Brunei, Kanada, Indonesia, Jepun, New Zealand, Singapura, Amerika Syarikat serta negara-negara Eropah.

Sebanyak 18 kategori dipertandingkan dalam kejohanan itu.-BERNAMA

meluangkan masa bermain bowling dgn rakan2 lama dari sekolah rendah.

qayyum dtg melawat pada raya haji pertama. ada road bike lama, fixie, dan basikal antik.

musim hujan yg melanda Malaysia dan hampir keseluruhan Asia Tenggara membuatkan latihan Powerman dibuat secara indoor. gim adalah tempat terbaik. 15 minit berlari-15minit kayuh-15minit lari, rutin harian semasa hari hujan.

Italian rider Marco Simoncelli died Sunday after crashing and being hit by two other riders at the Malaysian MotoGP

Marco Simoncelli ( 20 January 1987 – 23 October 2011) was an Italian motorcycle racer. He competed in the Road Racing World Championship for 10 years from 2002 to 2011. He started in the 125cc class before moving up to the 250cc class in 2006. He won the 250cc World Championship with Gilera in 2008. After four years in the intermediate class, he stepped up to the MotoGP class with theHonda Gresini Team.

Simoncelli died after an accident during the 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang on 23 October 2011.He was involved in a collision with Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi during the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit. In fourth position during lap two, Simoncelli's bike lost traction in Turn 11 and it started to slide towards the gravel, but the tyres regained traction and his bike suddenly veered across the track into the path of Edwards and Rossi, with Simoncelli hanging down on the right side.

Edwards also fell from his machine and suffered a dislocated shoulder. After sliding down the track surface Simoncelli lay still, his helmet having come off during the incident. The race was immediately red-flagged. Simoncelli was taken by ambulance to the circuit's medical centre, but at 16:56 local time it was announced that he had died from his injuries.

upnm endurance.the best ever achievements in MUDS for UPNM, we grabbed 4 titles- top U, best U, Men duathlete and female duathlete of the year. what about next year ? can the juniors defend or maintain this excellent achievements? i hope so. nothing is imposibble.

tuan amirul, chan n mizi crossed the finishing line.1st,2nd, and 3rd placing respectively.

3.5km-11.4km-3.5km. UM is famous with its bukit chinta, and those who r weak in climbing, its really challenged u. regarded as the toughest series of MUDS due to the steep climbing course.
