Celebrity Crushes
Who have been your celebrity crushes? Who would you have loved to have been lost on a deserted island with? Who would you love to be trapped in an elevator with (because of the interesting conversation)?

We're Going to Celebrate You Baby..We're Going to Praise You Like We Should
Seeing as how it is Sarah's Birthday on Monday (the BIG TWO EIGHT!) I thought we could pay blogging homage to our dear sister/daughter/friend.
I'll go first.
Sophisticated: Sarah has always had good taste in just about everything, always a cut above the rest.
Attitude: Sarah not only has a spicy side, she has a healthy attitude toward life. She knows what's important and what is not. Even in times of crisis, she maintains a positive and a forward let's-move-on attitude.
Reproducer: Sarah has not only replenished herself and her husband, she has multiplied, thus fulfilling the measure of her creation. And she does this with style and ease even though she is missing some stomach muscles. We all envy the hot body of this mother of three.
Appropriate: You can clean this girl up and take her out on the town and she will never do anything to embarrass you. She will be in the right clothes, she will speak at the correct decibel, she will be articulate and clear and never (or rarely) tell an off color joke.
Hysterical: While as a small child who was scared that someone might climb the house into her window this word might have taken on a different meaning. But as it stands today, Sarah has an hilarious take on even the mundane. She writes so well! She is a fave in the blog community for her hilarity and good humor.
So that's my celebration of Sarah this year. Yes, may she live...yes, may she live...yes, may she live for a hundred years more! Of course, she will live...of course she will live...of course, she will live for a hundred years more!

What gives you "Poop Feeling?"
Ok, I know it's a somewhat shocking title, but I think we'll get some good feedback. After all, I know we all get it, and if someone could give me a scientific explaination for why it happens, it will be an educational and worthwhile discussion. Plus, if you can't talk about your bowel movements with family and friends on an open-to-the-public website, where can you talk about it? (Mo, don't answer that.) So here's the deal, certain things make us have to go. In high school for me it was the J-Crew catalog that would come in the mail. Also right before track meets, for obvious reasons. But I feel like I've grown up a lot--now days, well...it's Target. I walk into Target and head straight for the bathroom because if I don't I truly can't enjoy myself. Most of the time places like TJ Maxx have the same effect. My theory is that anything that holds possibility for me makes me have to poop. In fact it has become much worse with pregnancy, assumably because I eat 10 times more often. But even sitting down at the computer to read e-mail, blogs, or my BabyCenter weekly update on my baby's developement--at the drop of a hat--gotta go. Oh, if I could pass on my abilities to Haley or any other 3 year old who is having trouble..."just go," I want to tell them, "It's a beautiful thing!" I am grateful that I'm quick about it though...are you in and out or do you prefer a good roost? Talk amongst yourselves. Come on, don't be shy. What gives you that feeling?
