Licensing
Once you have purchased OxyExtras, you will be provided with a license key and a link to download the plugin ZIP file in your order confirmation email. Licensing the plugin for your website ensures that your site will receive updates & have access to support.
Finding Your License Key
Your license key is provided in the email receipt sent after purchase.
To find your license key from your account:
- Go to your Purchase History (link in the header menu)
- Click View Licenses next to your order
- Click the key icon to view your license key

Adding your license to your site
Option 1: Via WordPress Admin (Standard Method)
- On your site, navigate to Dashboard > Oxygen > OxyExtras → License
- Enter your license key in the field
- Click Activate License
- A green ‘Active’ will display. This show this domain has been licensed.

Option 2: Via wp-config.php (from OxyExtras 1.4.8+)
You can also define your license key directly in wp-config.php:
define( 'OXYEXTRAS_LICENSE_KEY', 'your-license-key-here' );
Add this constant before the /* That's all, stop editing! */ line in wp-config.php.
When using the constant method, the ability to edit the license key or disable the license is removed from the settings page. The little green Active label shows the current domain is licensed.

Moving to a Different Domain
If you’ve moved your site to a new domain (which is currently unlicensed on your account):
- Go to Oxygen → OxyExtras → License in WordPress admin
- Click Re-Validate License
- The green ‘Active’ label will appear to confirm the new domain has been added to your account.
This will register that new domain for your license key.
For wp-config.php users: The constant will be automatically detected on the new site. If creating new sites with a fresh database with OxyExtras pre-installed, the domain will auto-register.
For staging domains, this re-validation would only need to be done once, to ensure the staging domain is also licensed. You’ll see the green ‘Active’ label when active.
Managing Licensed Sites
To view or change which domains are currently licensed on your account..
- Go to your Purchase History
- Click View Licenses
- Click Manage Sites
Here you’re see a list of domain where the license has been activated. Removing domains from this page will prevent those sites from being able to receive updates.
Clients & Licenses
OxyExtras licenses can be used on any number of sites that you create. Having an active license provides you with access to our support portal. Your clients typically don’t need their own license to continue receiving updates and to have the plugin active, but they don’t get access to support – support is for you, the license account holder.
If you wish to break a relationship with an existing client who is currently using your license, or you prefer they have access to support without going through you, this is where the client would need their own license.
