Under the Paper Moon by Aya Canicosa was an emotional roller coaster in every sense of the word.

This story had a way of lifting me up, tearing me down and then somehow putting all the pieces back together again…only to start the cycle all over. More than once, I found myself with tears in my eyes, completely invested, not only in the main characters but also in the people surrounding them. Every emotion felt genuine, raw and deeply human.

What impacted me most was how relatable this story felt. It touched on experiences and emotions that many of us carry quietly; it created a space where I didn’t feel so alone in them. There were moments that made me pause, reflect and realize that maybe I’m not the only one who has felt certain things or walked through similar struggles.

Aya Canicosa has written a story filled with heart, vulnerability, and hope. It’s the kind of book that reminds you that healing isn’t always linear, that people are complicated and that sometimes being understood can come from the pages of a book.

It’s a story that carries equal measures of heart vulnerability and hope…I’m grateful to have experienced it.

First, I would like to say that I am a fan of Ember Holt’s writing. Second… I love dragons!! 🐉

Reading Oh No! There’s a Dragon in My Bookshop by Ember Holt has been quite the thrilling ride. Cait is amazing! She feels realistic, relatable, and easy to connect with…mostly 😏. The dragon, on the other hand? Hot & absolutely drool worthy. 🤤

One of my favorite side characters was Oscar. In all of his random chaos, I somehow completely fell for him. I could be biased though, considering I basically have two of him at home already. 😂

Beyond the magical chaos and cozy bookshop vibes, one of my favorite things about this story was the found-family element. The friendships in this book felt meaningful and genuine, showing how important the right people can be when it comes to growth, healing and learning to move forward. Watching those connections develop made the emotional moments hit even harder.

And let me just say…when the spice showed up, it SHOWED UP!! 🌶️ Ember Holt definitely did not hold back because whew. The tension, the chemistry, the payoff? Absolutely spicy! 🥵

This story brought humor, heart, chaos, dragons, found family, and spice together in such a fun way. Honestly, I had an absolute blast with this one.

Went into this read with absolutely zero expectations. It was such a quirky spin on romance and honestly not my usual type of read at all.

But once I realized what was happening? Oh, I was completely pulled in. When I tell you I loved this book… even my poor husband had to hear me talk about it nonstop because my brain could not let it go.

The way Lacy would “leap” into different parts of the stories was so creatively done. It could have easily become confusing, but instead it was immersive, clever and incredibly well written. Every leap pulled me deeper into the chaos, the emotions and the mystery behind the curse itself.

And the banter between Elliot and Lacy? Absolutely loved it. Their chemistry felt natural, funny, frustrating and heartfelt all at once.

This story was quirky, emotional, funny and oddly healing in the best possible ways. And the curse? Epic. The unraveling of it and everything that came with breaking it became a story all on its own.

By the end, I genuinely did not want to leave these characters behind. This one surprised me in the best way possible.

At first, I thought I was casually stepping into another intriguing read. What I did not expect was to end up neglecting responsibilities because I suddenly needed answers immediately. I really enjoyed Act One, though at first I wasn’t entirely sure where the story was headed. The pieces I thought I understood didn’t quite line up, and honestly? That made me even more curious. But after those first few chapters, I was completely hooked. To the point where work absolutely should have been my priority… but reading won instead. Once Act Two began, everything started unfolding in ways that made my earlier assumptions click into place. I loved the beautiful blend of tales, fantasy, and folklore woven throughout this story. The buildup was crafted so well, layering each revelation with purpose. And Josie’s growth? Exceptional. Watching her evolve through everything was one of my favorite parts. That ending to Act Two though… completely unprepared. Stressed, emotionally invested, and absolutely needed Act Three immediately. And Act Three? Mind blown. Truly. The detail, the adventure, the unfolding of each step…it did not disappoint. Every twist felt earned, every moment impactful, and it delivered in such a satisfying way. The curse itself was impossible to ignore, and honestly…surrendering parts of yourself for it? Brutal. Did I love it? Absolutely. Would I personally be strong enough to make that kind of sacrifice? Not a chance. And that’s exactly what made it all feel so hauntingly powerful. What truly stayed with me, though, were the deeply emotional moments woven into the revelations. There was such tenderness in the way certain truths unfolded…heart aching, healing…so beautifully handled that it added an entirely new depth to Josie’s journey. Those quieter, more intimate moments carried just as much power as the adventure itself, grounding all the magic in something profoundly human. This was the kind of story that kept revealing itself layer by layer, pulling me deeper into its world until I was fully consumed. Magical, intense, and unexpectedly gripping, this journey was one I won’t soon forget.

You ever start a book thinking, “Oh this should be interesting,” only to end up clutching your chest, questioning fate, and needing emotional compensation? Yeah… that was me with In Another Universe. Amanda and Nat completely pulled me in. Their connection felt so raw, complicated, and achingly real that I couldn’t help but become emotionally invested. Watching them navigate love, fate, and everything in between had me laughing one moment, hurting the next, and honestly wondering if my heart needed a recovery day.

What truly stole my heart, though, were the moments tied to the phrase in another universe. Every time it came up, it felt deeper than just words, it became this beautiful, heartbreaking reminder of timing, possibility, and the aching thought that love can exist so powerfully that you can’t help but wonder about all the versions of “what if.” Those moments hit me hard in the best way, adding such an emotional depth that made this story feel even more personal. It was tender, bittersweet, and somehow both devastating and hopeful all at once.

This story didn’t just give me romance…it gave me emotion, reflection, and characters that felt impossible not to care about. Amanda and Nat’s journey didn’t feel like something I simply read, it felt like something I experienced right alongside them, in all its messy, beautiful, and sometimes painful honesty. And honestly? I wouldn’t change a single second of it.

First, I have to say this is one of the most original books I’ve read in a very long time and very much my kind of read. This story fits so perfectly within the style I love that I knew early on it was going to leave an impression.

Reading Elephant Blue by John Franz was truly an experience. This isn’t a book for everyone, but for the right reader, it’s one that keeps you invested through every strange, twisted, and beautifully chaotic turn. The back-and-forth flow was incredibly well done, and the typewriter network was such a unique, fascinating element that I absolutely loved.

The longing woven throughout these pages felt deeply real. At times, it read like a close friend’s journal…raw, unfiltered, and filled with every thought poured out despite the chaos brewing in their mind. The struggle of searching for Noah was powerfully presented and left a lasting impression.

This story was crafted with such distinct originality and intention that it easily stands apart. Strange, thought provoking, and deeply compelling, Elephant Blue gave me something refreshingly different and now I absolutely need more. I’m beyond ready to dive into the next two books.

From the very first page, this story was go, go, go. Constant movement, fast-paced yet subtle, with an easy-to-follow flow that still packed in plenty of detail. For a short story, The Illuminated by Alexander Semenyuk managed to fit so many possibilities into such a compact space and honestly, I could have gladly taken more.

Toko completely stole the show for me. I loved his role, his journey, and the adventures he experienced along the way. Every encounter felt vivid, from the eerie monsters to the terrifying animals, all described so well they practically leapt off the page.

When he finally discovered what he had been dreaming of finding, I was genuinely thrilled right alongside him. And then… when he saw the others? My excitement was immediate, even if heartbreakingly short-lived.

This was such a fun, imaginative read that delivered far more than I expected in so few pages. Action-packed, intriguing, and filled with memorable moments, The Illuminated was an absolute blast and I’ll definitely be reading more from Alexander Semenyuk in the future.

    🌼 ✨ 5 STARS?! Honestly…I need more. Infinity stars, please. ✨🌷

This was an absolutely spectacular read.

The way love blossomed throughout this story was breathtakingly beautiful—raw, tender, and incredibly real. Watching Ophelia grow felt honest and sincere in a way that truly stayed with me. Her journey was powerful, reminding us that asking for help does not make you weak…if anything, it shows incredible strength. And that message? So important.

This book carries so much emotion within its pages. I felt everything—heartache, hope, fear, healing…all of it. The emotional roller coaster 🎢 was unforgettable, and the representation of anxiety was handled with such authenticity and care. It felt deeply relatable and beautifully human.

And Emmett?! 🥹 The way he supported Ophelia through her anxiety and panic… excuse me while I melt. That kind of love, patience, and understanding? Absolutely everything.

And let’s talk about the spice… 👀🔥 Tender. Meaningful. Alluring. It wasn’t there just for heat—it was elegant, intentional, and beautifully written. A reminder that sometimes softness and tenderness can be just as powerful.

Beyond the Teacups is emotional, healing, romantic, and unforgettable. A story that reaches into your heart, gently squeezes, and refuses to let go. 🫶🏻📚

I fear this book has officially ruined me… 😮‍🔥📖

The hype for Daggermouth? Yeah… it’s justified. Because why was I fully transported like I clocked into a whole new dystopian reality?? The worldbuilding was so vivid it felt borderline illegal—gritty, raw, and completely consuming.

And don’t even get me started on the tension 👀
One minute I’m giggling, the next I’m side-eyeing my Kindle like “oh?? we getting bold now??” 🔥

That slow burn between the FMC & MMC? AGONIZING. DELICIOUS. PERFECTION. Watching it unfold had me internally screaming because the build-up?? Worth every painful, teasing second.

This wasn’t just a read—it was an experience. The kind that lingers in your brain, rewires your expectations, and leaves you staring at the wall when it’s over.

Anyway… I’m unwell and need more immediately.

There’s something dangerously addictive about a story that blurs the line between indulgence and control, and Pot Shot absolutely got me. This one didn’t hit all at once—it crept up. Smooth, easy, almost suspiciously calm… and then suddenly I was fully immersed, overanalyzing everything, and just a little emotionally unstable. I lived for the slow burn and that enemies-to-lovers tension. Naomi and Julian were frustrating, addictive, and so realistically messy that I couldn’t look away. Watching them evolve felt completely earned, which made every interaction hit harder. There’s such an elegant edge to the way desire, behavior, and control are explored here—sharp, precise, and a little dangerous. By the end, this wasn’t just a story. It was an experience that definitely lingered. ✨

From page one, this book throws you straight into action. For a moment, I genuinely felt like I’d been dropped into pure chaos—in the best possible way. There’s so much happening, yet it never feels overwhelming or confusing. Everything flows in a way that keeps you hooked and fully entertained. What really stood out to me was how unexpectedly funny this was. The humor is weird, quirky, and completely unapologetic. There were so many moments that caught me off guard in the best way, and honestly, I loved every second of it. The second she said she “saw the light,” I knew I was in for an absolute whirlwind—and it did not disappoint. This story fully leans into its absurdity, and that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable. And let’s talk about the spice… because why was it so exotic?! 🌶️😂 It really said “expect the unexpected” and then doubled down.

Did it make sense? Surprisingly, yes. Did it apply to real life? Absolutely not. 😂

And honestly… that’s what made it perfect.

This was one of those reads I didn’t know I needed—a chaotic, hilarious escape that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still delivers an unforgettable ride.

Some books you read… and some books just throw you into chaos and dare you to keep up. This one absolutely chose chaos.

When I first stepped into Brimstone, I honestly didn’t expect to be swept up in it the way I was. At the beginning, I felt a little overwhelmed—there is so much happening right from the start. But once the pieces began to fall into place, the world that Callie Hart created unfolded in such a beautifully intricate way.

The world-building is rich and layered, and the progression of the story is executed incredibly well. What really captured me, though, was the continuity and depth in the love between Saeris and Kingfisher. Their connection feels powerful, intense, and unwavering, even as chaos seems to swirl around them.

At times the story felt like a whirlwind—so many events, revelations, and shifting pieces all at once—but strangely, it never truly felt messy. Instead, everything seemed to flow together in a way that kept pulling me deeper into the narrative.

By the time I settled into the rhythm of the story, I realized I didn’t want to leave this world. Brimstone is dark, immersive, and emotionally charged, the kind of book that keeps you thinking about it even after you’ve set it down.

Some books you read… and some books tempt you into ruin.

The Poisoner was never meant to be safe—and honestly? I didn’t want it to be.

There’s something exquisitely dangerous about The Poisoner—the way it slips beneath your skin like a whispered secret you were never meant to hear.

    I. V. Ophelia doesn’t just tell a story… she seduces you into it. Every page feels steeped in shadow and velvet, laced with a slow, intoxicating tension that coils tighter the deeper you fall. This isn’t just dark—it’s decadent. A vintage kind of wicked. The kind that lingers on gloved fingertips and knowing glances.

There’s a quiet cruelty woven through the prose, but it’s paired with something far more dangerous: allure. The characters don’t beg for your attention—they command it. And before you realize it, you’re complicit. You’re enchanted. You’re willingly drinking from the very cup you should fear. It’s playful in the most sinister way—like a smirk in candlelight, like a secret shared too closely. And the spice? It simmers. Never rushed, always deliberate, leaving you breathless in anticipation rather than overwhelmed. Reading this felt like dancing with something forbidden… and not wanting the music to stop.

    Dark. Lush. Seductive.

    And utterly unforgettable.

Devil of Dublin by B.B. Easton… wow. This one wrecked me right from the start—especially because Kellen shares my name, which made parts of his childhood hit way too close to home. Some of those early moments genuinely messed with my head, but I couldn’t look away.

Once I pushed past what I thought was the hardest part, I was completely hooked. I caught myself reacting out loud, feeling everything right alongside the characters—and honestly, I didn’t want it to end.

This story is beautifully written with a dark, twisted romance at its core. Watching Kellen and Darby’s relationship grow from friendship into something so much deeper was incredible. The way she saw the good in him when no one else could… yeah, that hit. 🥹 And his loyalty to her? Unmatched. Everything he endured, everything he became—it was heartbreaking, complicated, and somehow still understandable.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Call me biased, I don’t even care—I’ll recommend this one every single time.

Now excuse me while I emotionally prepare for book two. 😅

    The Devil of Dublin

    The Devil of Dublin

    B.B. Easton

Reading Wuthering Heights felt a bit like wandering the moors on a windy afternoon 🍃 beautiful, haunting, and full of emotion. The story itself is deeply compelling, filled with passion, heartbreak, and characters that are impossible to forget. Heathcliff and Catherine’s stormy connection creates a tale that feels both tragic and timeless.

While I truly appreciated the depth of the story and the gothic atmosphere, I did find myself drifting at times. The older writing style was a little harder for me to stay fully engaged with, and it occasionally pulled me out of the flow of the narrative. That said, the emotional weight of the story and its lasting impact made the journey worthwhile.

Overall, this was a beautifully dramatic classic that I’m glad I experienced. It may have taken some patience to wander through the language of another era, but the wild heart of the story made the trip across the moors unforgettable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    🖤

If chaos had a heartbeat, it would sound exactly like All’s Fair in Love and Chaos.

From the very beginning this story pulls you into a whirlwind of emotion, tension, and delicious unpredictability. The writing feels alive! Sharp, immersive, and charged with an energy that makes it impossible to put down. Every scene built with purpose, weaving romance, conflict and raw vulnerability into something that feels both explosive and deeply intimate.

The characters aren’t just compelling, they burn on the page. Their chemistry is electric, the kind that crackles in the air before they even touch. When they finally collide, the passion is intense, unapologetic, and unforgettable. The spice isn’t just hot, but layered with emotion, tension and stakes that make every moment hit harder.

What truly makes this story shine for me, is how beautifully it balances chaos and heart. Beneath the fiery attraction and emotional storms lies a powerful exploration of trust, healing and the courage it takes to love when everything feels ready to fall apart.

This isn’t just a romance you read, no no no, it’s one you experience! It sweeps you up, wrecks you in the best ways, then leaves you breathless long after the final page.

⭐️ Bold, addictive, and irresistibly steamy! This is a story that proves love and chaos were always meant to collide and I am here for every bit of it!

Her memories were lost... Lost. Like Alice in Wonderland. Why should that analogy come to her mind? She had no clue. The car accident had evidently taken its toll: A shattered mind for her... ...and a broken heart for him. Jack knew it was only too true. His wife's love for him was gone. Their unborn child, no more. Vanished were the memories of their shared past. Could Alareese start life anew with the firefighter husband she doesn't remember? And, would Jack be able to get his "lovely librarian" to fall in love with him again? You'll enjoy this clean but romantic tale with elements of Alice in Wonderland woven into it. Now dive into the rabbit hole and fall in love with Jack and Alareese's story.
