Thanksgiving week

ForThanksgiving we  had guests.  Erin and Jason and their family came.  They stayed with us most the week, but went up to Mesa for a night to see stuff there.
After turkey and stuffing our faces, we went for an evening hike at honeybee canyon. 

On Friday, Kristen and Gary and Becky and  Glen came for a get together.  We ate pizza and wings, visited, made gingerbread houses, played bball, went jeep riding, and enjoyed time together.  Kristen's friend Joey, came for a little while.  It was fun hosting the party.  No pictures :(

Erin and Jason left Saturday morning to drive back to Utah.  We went to Mesa to see Jenn and Ned at the Mesa Temple lights.  We got to meet their new, adopted baby Levi.  He's a cutie!

My birthday.  The leftover half of sterling's cake became my birthday cake.   The life of a mom.  I just really did not want to make myself a cake. 

Maelie got contacts!!!  She looks so grown up now. 

Garrett had been chewing on his cheeks which caused a mucocele (a hard bump within the tissues of his inner cheek).  So we went to the dentist...

Denver removed it-one on each side.  Lots of blood...

Ewwww, look at the size of that spider.  I did eventually kill it-a few days later.  It was living in the engine or somewhere in the hood of the van. 

A preschool came to Denver's work to learn about teeth.  Here are the kids.  One of them gave Denver a big hug.  It made his day

Maelie and Garrett have been running cross country for their school.  We had 2 local meets and then 4 away.  We missed one of the away ones because it was on the same day as General Conference.

This is what happens because we drive all the time.  Poor Deacon.  Looks so uncomfortable.

One day, out of the blue, a delivery of flowers came.  Denver had ordered them for me- well, his staff did under his direction.  They picked good ones. 

At school there was a mother and sons olympic activity.  here we are eating dinner.

There is beauty all around!  Love the dark skies and the mountain views.

We went to the Marana Pumpkin Patch over fall break when Kristen and Gary came to visit. 

My parents came and watched the kids so Denver and I and Hudson could go to the Dental Convention in Denver.  Most of his staff was coming and Jess's wife so he wanted me to come too. 

Outside our hotel was parked this Oscar Meyer Wiener car.

We got to go to HuHot!  (a restaurant we really enjoyed when we lived in CO)

on one day we drove to Fort Collins to see John and Jolena.  This is Hudson and John's dog, Penelope.

We saw Jolena's workspace, went to lunch with John and Elora and then went to the Fort collins temple grounds.

We ate at this place twice. It was tasty and priced right.   it was on the dines, drive-ins and ?  show

On the day we were to fly home, we went to the Botanic Gardens.  It was pretty and big!   Lots to see in a limited amount of time.

This is a sister missionary in our ward. Her grandma and my mom are cousins and good friends. 

Love the storms that come through here.  We had dinner in the rain.  yes, it was cereal because denver was out hunting and I didn't want to cook.

Colson got this ripstick for his birthday, a post yet to come.  I haven't uploaded the regular camera photos onto my computer yet.  He's really good at it.

Someone posted these edible jello worms on facebook so I had to try them.  They look so much like worms.  And they are very slimy going down.
