Patrick and I met the summer of 2005 in Omaha, Nebraska. I was serving an LDS mission and Patrick was home from BYU for the summer. We fell in love immediately. Just kidding. Actually, Patrick helped my companion and me teach a group of men from Africa (french speaking – Patrick speaks french) and we became friends. When he was leaving in the fall to go back to BYU, he asked me if he could write me. And then I knew…haha. We wrote the rest of my mission, started dating when I got home in December of 2005 and got married July 2006.
In Allison’s words, we are “livin’ the dream.” We spent the first year of marriage in Omaha, where Patrick worked in accounting for the state of NE and I attended Creighton Law School. We lived in the same apartment complex with Patrick’s two brothers and their wives. It was such a blast and we really miss all of them!

Last August, we moved to Salt Lake. I transferred to the SJ Quinney School of Law (U of U) and Patrick got a great job working at Zions Bank as a Credit Analyst. We currently live in a 600 sq. foot apartment downtown Salt Lake.
We are expecting our first child in September – a girl! We can’t wait for this little one to join our family. Patrick would like me to add how awesome he is and how buff his legs are. He is currently showing me his upper thighs and asking me if I think they’re nice, which I do, of course.
