What Customers Say About our products

Intuitive App Management, Seamless Intune Integration
I use Patch My PC to govern and update enterprise applications, which greatly improves the time it takes to deploy and update apps across many endpoints. I find the Patch My PC UI to be clean, efficient, and intuitive, especially compared to Intune at times. I really like the App Discovery page and the App Deployments page because they are super easy to navigate, making…

Streamlined App Management with Custom Deployment
I like how Patch My PC makes management of applications much easier, especially with packaging custom apps. The pre-packed apps perform really well, particularly for continuous updates. The UI is easy to use, and the platform overall works really well. I particularly appreciate the way it extracts information from MSIs and makes deploying custom apps easier. It’s quick to update Intune with changes made on…
James Coote
Effortless Integration and Solid Support
I like the usability of Patch My PC; it’s easy to use, and I can guide someone who’s never used it before to deploy an app with just a few clicks. The support is also really great because if I run into any issue, I can open a support ticket and it’s usually answered or responded to almost the same day. The integration with Intune…

Microsoft Intune Integration that Automates Installs, Updates, and Patching
The connection ton Microsoft Intune allows our IT department to automate software installation, updated and patching. This alone is the work of one full time employee. Only issue I have is that it does not allow for easy registry key deployments. Coming from Scappman that was a great feature. Remote deploying application and keeping them updated is a huge benefit for our IT team and the company….
Raul Mercado
Intuitive Automated Patch Management
I like the easy-to-use interface of Patch My PC, especially compared to Intune. It is intuitive, and you don’t have to search long to find functions. Additionally, I appreciate that Patch My PC can automatically update software, saving us from manually updating all clients. The initial setup was very easy, as an employee demonstrated all the important aspects to us. Patch My PC automates software updates…

Effortless Updates and App Deployments in Just a Few Clicks
I like how effortless it is to prepare new updates or app deployments. It is as easy as clicking a few buttons and choosing the group you want to deploy them too. PatchMyPC has significantly enhanced our IT operations by enabling us to fully automate the process of application updates and deployments across the organization, resulting in improved efficiency, greater consistency, and reduced manual effort for…

Outstanding Support and User-Driven Features
One of my favorite things about Patch My PC is how incredibly helpful their support staff are. Whenever we’ve run into an issue that couldn’t be solved with one of their many knowledge articles, their team has always stepped in and guided us to a solution. I’m also a big fan of the “vote for your ideas” section on their website, where you can suggest…
Ryan Weeks
Patch My PC Saves Time Managing Multiple Software Applications
It’s easy to use and follows a similar approach to Intune, making it simple to integrate and intuitive to use from the start. The portal is easy to navigate, and their customer support is fast and approachable. Implementation was straightforward with the onboarding session. If we need to update or add a new app across the business, we just jump into the portal. It’s largely…

Improving Lives, One Milestone at a Time

2011
Image
An Accidental Start

Patch My PC started as a weekend project in 2011 for Justin. He built a free Home Updater to fix a problem at work, but then it ended up helping millions of people stay secure. In this video, Marie and Justin walk through how it all started, how the home updater took off thanks to sites like CNET, and why they kept going after that early traction.

2013
Image
Starting in Enterprise

In 2013 Patch My PC moved from a free consumer tool to our first paid enterprise product, built to make third-party patching easier in ConfigMgr. There was no sure sense that anyone would buy it, but it solved real pain. This is the moment Patch My PC started turning into a real company. Marie joined full-time, and we started focusing on the IT space.

2017-2020
Image
Going All In

By 2017, Marie and Justin quit their day jobs and went all-in. The Publisher was launched in 2018, which automated a ton of manual work (and was a huge boon to momentum). That led to app creation, Intune support, and our hitting 1,000 customers. This video shares how we built our first team, opened the Castle Rock office, and started growing with purpose.

2021
Image
Grounded in Our Values

2021 was about growth and staying grounded. With 12 people onboard and acceleration the new norm, the team created Patch My PC’s core values. These weren’t aspirational, the values were already part of how everyone worked. This video covers how Justin and Marie kept the culture strong while scaling up. We wrapped up 2021 with 3,359 customers and more than 12 million devices secured.

2022
Image
Scappman Acquisition and Global Expansion

In 2022 Patch My PC made its first acquisition. Scappman, a startup in Belgium, joined the team and brought with them a head start on SaaS. We added five new team members (including founders Wout Vergauwen and Maarten Follaets), opened an office in Antwerp, and got serious about building our cloud platform. At the time, we had around 50 team members and just under 5,000 customers.

Early 2023
Image
Apajove and Reporting Launch

In early 2023 Patch My PC acquired Apajove, a UK company with a solid ConfigMgr reporting product that went beyond just patching. Their founder, John Quirk, had a great team of six and a tool that filled a major gap in our current solutions. This video is about a fast-moving deal, a surprise Cancun dinner reveal to our team, and a big step forward for reporting.

Mid–Late 2023

Legal Victory and PSADT

Ivanti approached Patch My PC with a partnership pitch that quickly turned into a lawsuit. They gave us three choices: sell, pay royalties, or get sued. We chose to fight. After two years of litigation, we won the legal battle in May 2023. That same year we became stewards of PSADT and welcomed its founder Dan Cunningham to the team. We ended 2023 with 95 team members and over 6,000 customers.

2024
Image
Patch My PC Cloud

In 2024, we launched the most requested idea we’d gotten for years: Patch My PC Cloud. We dropped the on-prem requirements and unlocked new features like Custom Apps and a preview of Mac support. The enthusiasm of our community was huge! By the end of the year Patch My PC had 7,835 customers, 24 million devices, and a 125-person team across 15+ countries offering near-round-the-clock support.

Early 2025
Image
Leadership Growth and Company Summit

Patch My PC kicked off 2025 by adding our first executive leaders in Finance, Operations, and People Ops to support our next phase of growth. A few weeks later, nearly 100 teammates from 13 countries came together in Costa Rica for our third global summit. It was the perfect setting to welcome leaders, strengthen connections, and sharpen our focus on creating better experiences for customers.
