I work on privacy-aware big data solutions for the freedom to gather and organize information. 
 
I am the maintainer of the software YaCy. Using YaCy it is possible to get independent from centralized software and run these services for yourself or your company: make your own search engine with <a href="https://yacy.net">YaCy.net</a> - get independence from Google / Bing / etc. 
 
I did further work for search engine portals at <a href="https://searchlab.eu">searchlab.eu</a> - If you are a patron, you get the right to start a web crawl at this search-as-a-service portal. 
 
Another service is <a href="https://laufwetter.de">laufwetter.de</a> - a data science application to find the best time to go out for a walk. Right now this is for Germany only. 
 
I also educate in the field of Information Retrieval and Big Data solutions.
