I’ve handled smart and creative communications for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and humanitarian operations.
Bringing my creativity, knowledge, and skilled use of words, I’ve guided individuals and small operations with strategy on communications, website copy, and social media. I’ve also briefly done marketing work for clients.

In the humanitarian space, I worked as a communications strategist at the IPA Switxboard startup, which was a platform connecting tech and the world’s resources to address the needs of disadvantaged communities.
I consulted the group on the creation of organizational statements, messaging, and social media and communications strategy.
Let’s collaborate on mission-oriented work. Say hello.

My brother and I launched AccessibleMasks.org to communicate the unique new challenge solid face masks posed to deaf and hard of hearing people, as well as other communities.
Beyond building and designing a directory of transparent masks to address accessibility, we focused on communications strategies that included informational pages, educational articles, and resources for visitors.
We also focused efforts on Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as our own personal profiles on other social media networks, to effectively educate and promote inclusion during a public health emergency. Our online work was shared hundreds of times, eventually reaching thousands of website visitors.
My brother and I were also interviewed in articles, podcasts, and video streams—published in the US and internationally—through 2020 and 2021. The AccessibleMasks.org website was featured on Quartz, the Tedium newsletter, and university publications.
I’m experienced in community engagement work.
My digital production work has entailed active community engagement through direct email, conversations in comment threads, and replies on social media, which resulted in robust and loyal conversation across platforms, as well as millions of views on content.
At Quartz, our mobile app included comments on major news stories, and we worked with Quartz Pros—industry insiders, topical experts, and professionals—to feature their intelligent views. I built relationships while regularly and directly requesting their insight.
Another way I built relationships within online communities was within the comment sections of live video streams of Daily Blast Live broadcasts. I would interact with viewers, lots of whom were regulars, and ensure show hosts responded during commercial breaks or on air.
I’m skilled in coordinating partnerships to further mutual goals.
At AccessibleMasks.org, we communicated with vendors of see-through face masks that we wanted to feature on our website directory. We built trusted relationships that later expanded into partnerships to benefit our visitors.
While working as a digital producer for Kicker, a website publishing important news for young readers, I had an active role in coordinating multiple editorial partnerships.
The work entailed coordination on republishing Kicker articles on outside publications in order to further brand recognition.
