I haven't done this any life drawing in while, but I went about 3 times in the last 3 weeks and it's been super fun. Weirdly enough, I get a lot of energy from listening to this podcast called Podrunner which is 142 bpm of terrible trance music. But it makes you go go go...

Birth Days

So I know this has nothing to do with patterns, but it has tons to do with design! Here is something I've been working on for a past month. This has involved photoshoots, drawing and compositing in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

According to The Grammar of Ornament, the current pattern I'm working on is from a castle in Sammezzano in Tuscany. That castle was a Moorish wonderland! It is not finished, so I'm putting up progress jpgs.
