Best Selling Book Released in 2019
After the Fire, is a novel based on the true events from the 2015 Valley Fire in Lake Couty, California, where more than 1,000 homes were lost. Patti said, "I wrote this book as a love letter to my community. What I witnessed during, and following the tragic fire, was the very best of humanity. People helping one another. Strangers helping strangers with such kindness and compassion. I often say my characters are to the Valley Fire, what Jack and Rose were to the Titanic. The history and stories are true, but the main characters are fictional."
