Buy Our Storybooks.

When you buy our storybooks, together we are starting a quiet revolution along the shores of Lake Victoria.

Armed with illustrative pages, we want to use the power of Once Upon A time... to cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards in Uganda's school going children for the protection of biodiversity hotspots within the largest tropical lake and it’s other satellite lakes.

“I am talking about a storybook that will educate and empower children to contribute to the regeneration of declining biodiversity populations in the Lake Victoria basin.”

Why This Project Matters!

“Aquatic species in fresh water resources have declined by 85 per cent since 1970; migratory fish populations have declined by 81 per cent; aquatic megafauna have declined by 88 per cent; and mega-fishes have declined by 94 per cent.”

IUCN-2024 report.

Lake Victoria, the largest tropical lake in the world, was brimming with fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles and plant life.

Today, its ecosystem faces significant threats.

We launched a monthly giving circle to create awareness and educate children and the community.

When you buy our storybooks you offer a unique opportunity to equip children aged 9–12 with knowledge and tools to protect aquatic species critical to Uganda’s heritage and survival. Together, we can inspire the next generation of conservation stewards.
