Hello Faithful Pete Chat Readers. First I don't know if anyone blogs anymore, and second I don't know if anyone still looks to see if I blog. I know for me, that when Google got rid of the Google Reader, my blog reading and writing pretty much went with it. And if you tried to come to Pete Chat and found that I went private, well I'm passed that now.
So here in a few sentences is what I have been up to.
I did a survey for Malibu High School.
I edited a book.
I managed a successful campaign for a school board seat.
And now I am working for a Public Affairs firm in Santa Monica.
In addition to my professional endeavors, I watched Germany win the World Cup, and the Angels and Cougars have their seasons end (more or less) on the same night in soul crushing fashion, and hung out with Shannon. That more or less sums it up. Now the Angels are once again in playoff contention and Cougar Football is right around the corner. What better time to fire up the blogging machine and get after it again.
I miss blogging, and while I'm not sure I'll ever be as consistent as I was during the golden age of blogging (2007-2009) I still want to write about the things I think about.
