Wonderful weather

The boys just spent the evening outside after dinner. They were roller-blading in shorts and t-shirts in 70 degree weather. Can you believe that it is November 13? This is great weather. Too bad it can't be like this year round.

My Cutie Pie

Emily finally got her piano that she has wanted since we got married. Now we all get to enjoy music in our home. She is learning one of my favorites: All of Me by Jon Schmidt. It is one of the songs on the playlist. I think it is amazing that she can pick up a piece of music and start playing it.

Wakesurfing follow up

I was able to do the surfing for a while without the rope. We needed to go to deeper water in order to get a bigger wake. The problem with that is the river is cold out in the main current where it is deeper. We usually go to the slough where it is about 10 degrees warmer. You can also stand up at the deepest part. Sweet Sunset too, Eh!

wakesurfing

I am trying to learn the art of wakesufing, Red Bluff style. It is behind a boat, on a shorter "surfboard", and the wake is what pushes you. If you do it right and the wake is big enough you don't even have to hold onto a rope to keep going. (I still have to hang onto the rope.) The guys I went with are still trying to figure it out too. I don't think we are getting a high enough wake.
